Although this brand is known to be comfortable, this particular style is not. The seams along the top rub on the knuckle of the big toe. Could not see wearing these for longer than a few hours. Not acceptable, especially for this price.

The sole is more of a rocker-type, which, if you are a heavy individual, will not be all that comfortable, even somewhat rigid. I only learned this after finding that SAS Shoes are hand-made and have at least two kinds of soles the one mentioned and one that gives more. Not Zappos, SAS Shoes, or Brown Shoe Fit reps that I spoke with knew this. It took a phone call to a shoe store that sells SAS 100mi away to clarify this.

Fit was fine. the shoes were made from high quality leather. Soles seemed durable. Stitching look ok, but it rips out. I only got about 7 months out of these shoes before the stitching game out. Unlike similar previously purchased shoes (other brands, less expensive) usually last 1-2 years. I expected 2 years from this pair or shoes.

I had plantar fasciitis which was very painful. After about two weeks in these shoes it was gone and has not come back. I buy these shoes two pairs at time in case they ever decide to stop making them!

Fit true to both width and size. Definitely a premium shoe. The S design they use to help with the walking is something that takes a little bit to adjust to, but is totally a game changer in the long run.

I have a EEE 9 1/2 shoe size and this is one of the most comfortable shoes I’ve worn. The removable foot bed let’s me use my orthotics.

Don’t get me wrong. This is a 100% quality shoe from SAS. I have bought from them in the past and I will again in the future. But here’s the deal. They are advertised as a slip on, but honestly, the fact that they include a shoehorn with your purchase should be your first clue. I could not get my foot into these shoes easily from a standing position. You can force it, but you’ll likely bend down the shoe in the back and then you have to try to insert your finger to pull the material back up. Get it? In a slip on, you want ease and convenience. This particular shoe did not meet that test. I’ve had much better luck with the Dunham Litchfield but as of today they are out of stock everywhere in my size.

I wish they would bring this shoe back! I just bought the last pair in my size. I was told at the SAS store that the style has been discontinued.

I bought these for my son's birthday, and he loves them; the fit, the style, the beautiful leather. Actually, these are the second pair of the same shoes I purchased for him on a previous birthday. He's very happy with these SAS quality shoes.

It took a couple of weeks for these shoes to feel good, once broken in they are comfy. Shoehorn required otherwise the backs fold in.

This SAS Cruise On in black is a handsome shoe with a nice fit...fits snugly, but does not crowd toes. The fact that it is a slip on with a high vamp means a shoe horn is helpful to my husband in slipping in his feet. Also, he's wearing a lighter weight sock than his usual sneaker socks. There are helpful elastic gussets to expand the shoes to ease in his feet. He wore them out of the house today and is very happy with this slip on. It's been a long time since he has worn a nice fitting, supportive slip on. He wears a Medium, but he has a narrow heel....the Cruise One is not slipping on his heel and his toes are not crowded, but it is a snug fit, which I think a slip on needs to be.

My husband has to stand long hours. This is the only shoe that helps his legs. Very happy in those.

I will be using it for my daily 5 to 6 mile walks. I just hope that they will last. Other SAS purchases have been great. The only drawback is the high prices they charge and lack of local sources. I have to order online.

I purchased these shoes 4 years ago, cause I was going on a trip along with 2 other pairs. I had to order them, my wife and I commercial cleaning company and I am on my feet 8 to 13 hours a day, sometimes even long when we have to strip and wax floors. I am going to do one thing different I will purchase these shoes again but will order me a pair of SAS work shoes and use these shoes as intended.
