this is the third pair of this shoe that i’be bought from Zappos. The shoe fits great. It lasts a long while.

Ordered for my son. On his feet for long periods. He has been a size 11, but thanks to reviewers, we ordered up 1/2 size. That helped, however, after doubling up on support insoles in another shoe (1 for heel and arch support, plus 1 for extra cushion); these did not feel as comfortable as that. We do wish manufacturers would make shoes to the correct sizes, instead of sizing up after years at a size AND with the understanding that people need reliable performance from their shoes/feet. The QC on shoes, in general, is off overall right now, and it is frustrating. We're grateful for Zappos and their easy return policy.

First of all, kudos to Zappos for their generous return policy. I had to send one pair of these shoes back. Gave me a complete refund. Then, I had to return the second pair in exchange for one that was a half-size longer. No problem. Done. I now have the shoe in a 13.5 slim and it fits perfectly. Thank you Zappos for your patience in making my shoes right. Now, about the shoes. SAS is a brand I have purchased before and for a guy who has narrow, long feet (usually 13 AA in a dress shoe) I was pleasantly surprised to find this slip on in a slim. It does run a full half size shorter than other brands and styles, so I would recommend you order an half size up from your normal length. Anyway, that’s what worked for me after one return plus an exchange. It’s quite a bit of money, but when your buying options are as limited as mine cost just isn’t a factor. These shoes are well constructed and superbly finished in quality leather. I especially appreciate the non-slip sole because I’m 80 years old and live in Minnesota all winter. Easy on, easy off. Light weight and look to be durable. They are not advertised as waterproof so I’m spraying mine with silicone but also not planning to go puddle jumping. Hope this review will help you decide in favor of Zappos and put your trust in SAS shoe company. Made in the U.S.A. And nobody paid me to say that.
