These are the most comfortable loafers I have ever owned. They run true to size. I've had them for a year now and they look as new as the day I purchased them. I'm 32 and never considered SAS before this purchase. I wish the company would make more youthful footwear and offer more colors. The quality is outstanding, they wear well, and they breathe well. I use shoe trees with them always.

More comfortable than many sneakers I own. Amazing to walk in. Love that they're made in USA.

These shoes are great and they last forever. My third pair and I still wear the first two. The soles hold up like nothing I've seen before and they are as comfortable as my old Bass shoes which cost 10 times as much. I keep trees in them when they are not on and they keep their shape well.

I have worn SAS Ace loafers for about 25 years. Once broken in (which doesn't take long), they are as comfortable as bedroom slippers, and they last forever. The craftsmanship is superb. I am really hard on dress shoes, so their comfort and durability is paramount. I also have big feet (size 12) for a short guy (5'8"), so I need shoes that keep my feet from looking like flippers, and these stylish Ace loafers do just that. My routine is that I buy a new pair every three years, and wear the new pair for preaching, weddings, and funerals (I'm a pastor), the next newest pair for office hours, and the oldest with jeans to knock around. Yeah, I know, it sounds weird to wear "dress shoes" for goofing off, but sneakers make my feet look like, well, the flippers previously mentioned. Eventually, my wife has to throw away the oldest pair, as the wonderful one-piece bottom is worn thin, and then I find them and pull them out of the trash. After several cycles of this "saving the shoes" game, I finally give in and let them go. Time to order a new pair!

I first ordered a 10 1/2 slim, which is my normal size. Shoes were very tight so returned and got 11 slim. They feel great and can be worn with or without socks! Zappos made return easy.

On a business trip to San Antonio in 1992, had spare time and went to mall, saw these shoes, and purchased pair of black and pair of brown. In 2012, when I retired and moved back to Ohio, I had to throw the black pair out after only 20 years of regular wear, and it broke my heart. Still have the brown pair only 25 years later, and they have many years left in them. Replaced the black ones last week, so you may not see me again for 20-25 years. WHAT A PRODUCT!!!!! Best shoe I have ever owned. Cannot imagine a more comfortable, better made, more durable show than these SAS shoes.

Longevity - I have worn my SAS Ace shoes for five years - - every day, and I do not mean rotating them every other day (which shoes really need in order not to degrade the footbed) , I couldn't count the miles I have put on those Ace. I am sending them for resoling to try to make them last another five. Five years without resoling - -when worn every day with no rotation- - I think is impressive for a $165 office shoe. Style - Ace are office moccasins, kind of around the loafer end in the office-shoe spectrum - - other side from the CEO's whole-cut or maybe oxford cap-toe. What you don't get in style from the Ace, you get in comfort ! I'm a software guy, so I fit in a casual office-shoe crowd (my teammates often wear sneakers). These shoes are great when I'm not trying to look like an executive. This little moccasin has rewarding comfort. Integrity- Since I only thought to use cream polish (conditioner with pigment; doubt you'd use wax polish on these casual shoes) every year or two, I am impressed the leather didn't dry out terribly. A multitude of times after work I took advantage of a lake nearby my office, and sometimes accidentally got a wet foot or muddy shoe while boating; later I didn't use anything to properly clean my shoes except warm water . This year I conditioned them with Saphir Renovateur, and the leather, still strong and intact, got visibly soft and supple. The insole is torn and falling apart (again, I did not know how to treat these shoes properly - -this is not SAS' fault, footbeds do mold and fall apart with the continuous wear I gave this one - -including the lake), yet still I pick them first when relaxing comfort is my top want for the day. My one regret, which also happened with all the sneakers I wore during that time, is a tiny tear at the top of the heel counter: During the first five years I wore this shoe, I didn't use a shoe horn. Well, that's why SAS gives you a shoe horn in the box (d'oh !) - - use it.

Fit, style and size were very good, but the pricing was too high for what it offered. Also the sole had no traction and was scary to think of wearing

I need a 16 AA (SLIM) but you don't feature styles I can use. This 15 Slim feels too short.

Thank you for your assistance with my return of a pair of your Ace Slip On Loafers, Black. Unfortunately, they do not fit. I had ordered size 8 medium earlier this year, but found they were too tight. I contacted SAS and asked about the next size larger, specifically how much space would I gain in the width if I purchased size 9 wide. I was told approximately inch around. The fit was excellent with the added width, but the extra length was too much. Regrettably, I must return the shoes. I am a new customer to SAS products, having bought a pair of walking shoes last Fall and a pair of Decksiders earlier this year. Each is well-made, super-comfortable, with high quality leather. The break-in period was maybe two weeks; now they fit like old friends. I wear them regularly, rotating each every few days. I had hoped to add a pair of SAS dress loafers to my shoes collection. QUESTION: Does SAS make a dress loafer, size 8 in WW? The extra width would be the difference in fit. Again, thank you for your help. I hope to find a pair of SAS loafers that fit my irregularly shaped-feet that are between sizes! NOTE: My comments focus on the fit of the shoes, and not the high quality of their design and construction.

These things have a very pronounced bump for arch support that is too far forward for my foot. It ends up pushing right into the center of my arch on the right foot and led to sharp pain by the end of 1 hour of wearing them. I have decent sized arch, so maybe these or more for people that have less of one.

Shoes run narrow. Also, since my foot doesn't perfectly fit the shoe (I buy a larger size for width), it feels like my arch is collapsing where it should be supported. May be alright if the shoes can break in. I wasn't expecting such a large midsole drop since the shoes appeared to be flat, but that isn't the case.

I cannot speak to arch support because I was never able to get the shoe on my foot. I can only speak to size and width. I usually wear an 11.5 W, but it also depends on the make or manufacturer of the shoe. Often, I have to upsize in order to fit regularly. Instead of 11.5W, I would have to do 12 M, or 12 W if it can be found. Again, it depends on make or manufacturer. I was so looking forward to wearing this shoe, but I am limited by space and opportunity. So, it was prudent to simply opt for a refund. I wish I could give a better rating of the shoe, but I can only rate the service as a 5 star because there was waffling or confusion about the issuance of a refund and I was most appreciative of this fact alone. So, I'm still a happy and encourage camper looking forward to my next shoe drive. No photos to shoe because the shoes were sent right back.
