The width was okay in this-- I sometimes need a wide for my bunion, but tried this is a medium, and it fit. The ankle was too big and slipped out. There was a LOT of room at the opening and it felt clunky. You can't remove the supports to put in your own orthotics as with other SAS shoes. The leather didn't feel very high quality and the shoe didn't feel different than a $100 boot from the Walking Store--- for $300, it should have better materials and comfort. Returning.

I agree with other reviews that this is a European wide. Width wise it’s between a standard and wide width and I’m a true wide so this don’t work for me

I LOVE these boots. The deep brown with the fun floral design give my outfit just the pop I love. I will say you have to size up a bit due to these being made in Italy but after the slight sizing up they are absolutely perfect. I am on my feet quite often throughout my 8+ hour work shifts and these don't have my feet ready to die by the end.

Definitely not wide enough in the footy part and too wide in the heel. Nice looking, but too tight even in the wide.

Best shoes I've owned, very high quality! This boot does run narrow, so if u have a wider foot be aware this is an Italian boot! Beautiful artwork.

Absolutely beautiful leather in a faux snake texture. It is described as a brown but really more of a purply brown. It is described as having a removable orthidic friendly insole but is not. I must wear orthotics and the insole is not removable in these shoes.

I like SAS shoes and have a pair that is still great from about 20 years ago. However, their sizing is all over the map. As an 8W I couldn't begin to squeeze my feet into these tiny boots! Sadly, because of steep return fees and shipping fees, I can't afford to order several sizes to find one that might work, plus the boots are way too narrow for a wide boot.

Why can't we enlarge the images on our phones?? I cannot see what color Viper is. Looks like brown but very dark. Looks like a crackle texture but I can't be sure? Does this run small and narrow or just narrow?? Why don't they have black in this style?

I've been wearing SAS shoes for some time due to Quality of the Products and availability in wide widths. Purchased these boots and wore for 4 days straight, on my feet all day, in rain/snowy conditions. Excellent products and purchase!

I really wanted these to work as they are a very nice looking boot. But they were too big in the heel area. With every step, they were slipping up and down in the heel. I knew that as time went on this would only get worse.

BEAUTIFUL shoe but almost a half size LONGER than listed. I've had this issue with some European brands before and hoped this would be different. If they fit I would definitely have kept them.

I was so excited for these boots. However, as soon as I put them on, my right toe was hurting. They were too narrow and not comfortable for me to walk in for our trip to NY. Needed to return them.

I have been wearing SAS shoes for over 20 years and am a solid size 11W. These gorgeous boots are most certainly NOT SAS's dependable wide width. They are crafted in Italy, which explains both their beauty and narrow width. Sorry, SAS - you need to pay way more attention to your QC for these boots. I am returning them with regret.

I ordered a 12 W and my toes were bumping up against the front and side, so I’d say it didn’t feel wide enough or big enough. Other than that, it’s a great looking boot and seemed like it would be comfortable with the right sizing.

These shoes are super stiff. They feel like they would take months to break in. The heel was really narrow and pinched.

This boot is made in Italy not America, I have a wide foot wearing 11W, this boot is not wide enough and because I bought it on Cyber Monday on sale I can't return it.
