Very comfortable sandal. I usually order wide width which fits me fine. However, the wide size on this sandal was really way too wide, even for my wide foot. It looked like there was almost 3/4 inch of the sole showing on each side of the widest part of the sandal. Tried to return them for a regular width but not in stock at this time.

Haven't worn them out yet, but I think they will be comfortable. I looked for blue sandals all last summer and really like this shade of denium blue. I believe it will complement most of the blue dresses etc that I have.

I really wanted a pair of these sandals because they are like the Sanibels but with a back strap. I needed something that was less like a flip flop and could be worn to work but the ankle strap was too short. I could not get it to close. I am glad I tried them on in the store instead of buying on line. However they were comfortable and of course as an SAS shoe well made.

I thought I had found the shoe I'd been looking for and SAS is my most comfortable brand. Unfortunately, I had to return it as there are two things about the strap that made them unwearable for me. Very high instep -- first, the strap (as another reviewer said) is much too short. Once it was across my foot, the very tip of the velcro barely met the other side of the velcro. That could have worked (maybe) but....the other side of the strap has two seams surrounding a bit of elastic. Those two small seams rubbed my foot so bad on just a short walk around my home that the side of my foot was red and raw. It's a shame such a beautiful, well-made, stylish shoe failed due to this small but important design flaw. If you order this, it is true to size and very comfortable otherwise. I'll keep looking!

These are great looking, and should have been perfect, since I need the back-of-the-heel strap to keep flip flops on my feet. Unfortunately, although the sandals were wide enough, as advertised, the strap was too short to fit around my ankle. Sorry, but I had to return them, and will keep looking elsewhere.

the soul of the shoe is good but it is made for a big foot/ big bones. I have this problem with sandals a lot. The straps are too loose but the size is correct.

I returned because I needed a wide. I did not care for the quality of the straps. They were thin and flimsy.

The color and style are lovely and the cork insole is a plus. However, the leather in this thong sandal is thinner than the backless Sanibel version. I have three Sanibel shoes, black, gold, and grey metallic. They actually feel more stable than the Marina with a back strap. I recommend the Sanibel instead.

I like the color and design. But the toe area where the strap attaches made the bottom of my foot hurt.

I bought 2 pairs of these sandals 3 years ago- the brown and blue. I have had no issues with the cork bottom and they are in great condition. I just got a black pair a month ago. I wear them about 4 days a week and the cork bottom is already coming off. This started the first week I got them. I plan to return them to the store.

These are my very favorite sandals because they are so comfortable. I have several and find the cork type sole on certain colors do not stand up to use. These soles peel and shred, leaving flakes of cork on my floor. Those without the cork wear very well. I would think by this time SAS would have corrected this. Please fix this and I will add to my collection.

I really liked this shoe, but they just did not work for me. The strap across the top was too short (for my foot). This is a common problem for me when shoe shipping. I hoped that by purchasing a half size up that I would get a little more space, but the strap was the same length and the shoe was too big.

I bought three pairs and had the same issue with all three cork pads falling apart and sections lifting from the sandals. At the start, they were the most confortable sandal I have worn, but I hesitate to spend that amount of money again and have the same issue. I would reconsider repurchasing replace my three pairs if they are replaced with the leather insole that I see online with the newer colors.

Love these shoes so much. However, the thin cork layer peeks away quickly. For the price, this should not happen.

I was so excited about these sandals, but alas, it was not meant to be! They ran really wide on me, so much so that they would have been really sloppy looking, and downright dangerous to try to walk in! But they were just the right length, so I couldn't order smaller. I think they'll work well if you have a wider foot.

Great style and fit but the cork footbed creased uncomfortably under the ball of my foot. With each step, the sole flexed well, but this caused the cork to form a horizontal crease that pinched my foot. It's too bad because the fit was otherwise great and this style is not frumpy like this brand often is.

I love SAS shoes. I have been wearing them for about 7 years. These are cute and pretty much true to size. Unfortunately SAS has put a cork foot bed in them. This is actually a thin layer of cork and after 5 months it is peeling off. Really disappointed with this. I will be returning them as they are way too expensive to have this problem.

I had the same problem as another reviewer--the heel strap is too close in and short, holding my foot well forward of where it ought to be in the shoe. Maybe because I'm large and my ankles aren't skinny? A separate adjustment on the heel strap would solve this. As it was, the position of the heel strap made my foot sit too far toward the toes of the shoe, with room behind my heel and my toes practically coming off the front.

The thong strap with the buckle is too short from the footbed to the top of the thong strap and the buckle sits between the toes which is uncomfortable.

These were really pretty and comfortable shoes. The only problem, which is a big one, was the cork-like laminate on the footbed came off completely after only wearing them 3 times.

Please change the cork bottom that peels off and make my sandals look awful.I love the sandals but I'm not buying them anymore unless you change the bottom. I will give them a five star when you take care of the problem.

I purchased a black pair last year and I am still enjoying them. My daughter wanted a pair so I purchased her a pair just like mine for her birthday in May. She wears them maybe twice a week to work. I noticed they are already peeling on the foot bed and the side is lifting. This has happened and she hasn't even had them a month. Not a happy mom. SAS shoes are expensive. I would appreciate some feedback.

I purchased these at the end of the summer to ensure I'd be comfortable for a vacation in the fall. I love how comfortable they are, but after wearing a month, the cork is coming off the shoes. Not sure there will be anything left by the time vacation is over. Pretty expensive to wear for 2 months.

This shoe was very cute but sadly, I had to return it. I returned it because it cause me pain. The slight slope of the shoe may it painful when I was walking. The material into my two rows is what caused me pain. After walking around in them for about 5 mins (or less) it was obviously to me that I couldn’t keep them.
