These are the most comfortable sandals I've ever tried. I am going to do a lot of traveling in Europe this summer for my honeymoon and was trying to find a sandal that wouldn't kill my feet halfway through the trip and give me blisters. I think these will do the job well, without looking too geriatric (I'm only 30!). Being a flip-flop girl at heart, the cross cross over the toe is quite comfortable, and helps keep your foot from working forward in the shoe. The leather is soft and so is the foot bed. They seem a little wider than I expected but in a way that helps make these very comfortable.

Hurt my feet, immediately. All I want is comfortable, cushioned sandals.

I love the look of these Sandals but the toe loop is really stiff and uncomfortable. I have two other pairs of sandals I love with toe loops. This particular sandal just doesn't work for me.

Although this shoe is cute I disliked the feel of the leather around my big toes.

I own 3 pairs of SAS Sanibel sandals and wanted to try the Pampa. I really love the style and shape of the Pampa, rounded, just like the shape of your feet. These look minimalist and chic, not granny-chic at all. The material and quality is great, and it fits TTS, I wear 7 and size 7 was perfect. However, my issue was with the footbed, it's more of a Birkenstock-style, firm footbed. I was looking for a sandal with some cushioning and this is not it. I don't think it's the sandal I can wear for hours at a time. I still love my Sanibels and will stick with those. SAS sandals are my absolute favorite, it's just that the Pampa style is not for me.

What I liked about this style is it’s truly a wide fit and the footbed is very comfortable. Unfortunately, the toe loop was small for a wide fit and the leather was very stiff. The toe strap was not a comfortable fit and wouldn’t be good for hours of walking on vacation; so, I’m returning them.

One foot felt comfortable but the other was rubbing on my big toe. Have to return them to someone who will enjoy them more.

I wanted to love this sandal. The footbed was very comfortable. The wide width was perfect. But, like another reviewer mentioned, the strap on the back didn't fit right. It left a gap, big enough to fit one or two fingers in. You can only adjust the front part of the ankle strap, and no matter how tight, the back strap is still too big. For as much as these sandals cost, the overall fit needs to be better. I can't justify spending this much on a sandal that doesn't fit well. Sadly, I returned them.

The strap around the big toe on the right foot was too tight. Pain shot through my toe as soon as I tried to walk. This was a unique experience. I waited a few hours figuring it was just a weird occurrence but it happened the second time. The style was nice. But for the price I expect excellent quality. Sending them back. Was it the strap or something in the footbed? I don't know but I'm not taking a chance on a replacement.

The arch was too much. I could not stand in them for 5 minutes. Loved the look but no to the high arch support.

I love this SAS Pampa sandal/thong as it is extremely comfortable and supportive. I am returning it though as there is a suction noise/sound when I walk (sounds like passing gas). I contacted Zappos and it was suggested I use talcum powder to eliminate the sound but that didn’t work. I also contacted SAS and they suggested purchasing “arch cookies” but for the price of this shoe I don’t want to stick something to the footbed and still have the suction noise and not be able to return the shoes.

I’m not sure I understand the high reviews on these. Not a good fit for my particular foot, I guess. I have wide feet, but not overtly so. I do tend to over pronate(something I am working on), so I require decent arch support and these seemed perfect from the reviews, but I received a less than awesome shoe. I went down half a size(I’m usually a 7, but went with a 6.5 in the medium width)based on reviews and it seemed fine, but my heel seemed to go over the back a bit, in an unattractive manner. I also found that the medium width, although people say was quite on the wider side, made my feet look like they were spilling over. Not a cute look. I also didn’t feel very stable in these, the heel looked cheap and not the quality I would expect for the price. The footbed was soft, but not supportive enough. This shoe was just OK, but less than acceptable for the price point.

Super cute and I wanted to love these but the part that loops around the big toe was too tight and was uncomfortable. The foot bed seemed comfortable, but I didn't wear them long enough to really evaluate because the toe loop was so uncomfortable for me.

I wear SAS, but, for seem reason, placement of arch support in this aprticula atyle was just off for me. Otherwise, it is. nice sandal.

I purchased these primarily because of the wide width option, which I have had trouble finding in a semi-cute sandal. I also have a pretty high volume foot with a high instep and the straps do fit. The arch support is pretty minimal, so if you have flat feet or super strong arches, then this is likely not a problem. For me, I would like more arch support. The first week they were great, comfortable, and cute enough to wear on a variety of occasions. The materials are soft to the touch, there is plenty of room for spreading out your toes, and the sole is very flexible. However, after a week of wearing almost everyday, the cushioning in the ball of the foot decreased significantly and I began experiencing significant pain in the ball of my foot, which continues now even after discontinuing wearing them. I'm going to try an insert pad to try and alleviate the pressure in the ball of my foot because after spending this much money on a pair of shoes, I really need them to be functional! I don't think the shoe caused the issue in the ball of my foot but rather they really aggravated it due to inadequate padding and lack of arch support. For what it's worth......

These are cute and comfortable shoes if you have medium or wide feet. I usually wear a 10 narrow in SAS and this 10 medium was way too wide and too large so I returned them. If they ever make these in a narrow, I will buy them again!

Yowza. These were *not* my cup of tea. They managed to combine all the ugliest elements of a clog and a Birkenstock/footbed sandal into one thing. They were comfortable. And unlike most clogs/birks, the soles are flexible so they aren't quite so slab/brick-like, but ... hoo-boy. Style just wasn't my cuppa. If it was, I would've returned my usual size 8 (huge!) and tried a 7.5, maybe even a 7. Hope this helps someone else!

A beautiful sandal, but may be the widest size 9M I've ever seen. I had to check the box and shoe to make sure that it wasn't a wide width. Unfortunately I am returning them.

I wanted to like this shoe but the back strap was so loose that my foot didn't feel secure in the shoe, So I had to return them.

These were super comfortable and well made. I had a hard time deciding if they fit my personal style, but ultimately returned them.

I returned because these are too wide and larger than a 9 which i wear in a sandal. the buckles on SAS sandals are annoying, im so used to velcro or ties. The toe separator was angled and it slightly irritated my big toe.
