Instep strap is too short for ab XX width.

Sadly I returned these. As we get older it's difficult to mess with putting on shoes and these need adjusting each and every time I would have worn them. I loved Huggies years ago and had several pairs but alas I think I have to look for something with more ease in wearing.

These are very comfortable and provide good arch support, but the style seemed a bit clunky and not what I wanted this time, so I am returning them.

Love the suede straps and hope more colors in suede will be added. Support is good with adequate arch support.

Quality was good, but the non adjustable strap across the top of my foot was too tight and scratchy. I bought 2 pairs of the SAS relaxed fit sandals in the past, and that design works better for the shape of my foot.

These fit well and were a pretty blue suede. However they just were not my style. They felt too old looking for me.

I had high hopes after reading the reviews. Just did not work on my feet. My feet are a problem and it is so tough finding comfortable safe shoes. I still enjoy Zappos. I guess Romika discontinued a sandal that did work for me. Onward............Thank you Zappos. Not sure what I would do without you.

When I was a kid in Texas, we used to mock our teachers for wearing SAS shoes, and yet here I am ... around the same age my older teachers were then, and sporting my first pair of SAS sandals. As was the case then, they are well made from good materials. What surprised me though was that they aren't as comfortable as I was expecting in that they don't accommodate my high foot volume. The style of these sandals is the basic style I go for when looking for a comfortable shoe (which is always, given all of the problems I have with my feet): love the duck shape, adjusts in the three points I need it to; cradles my foot on the sides for stability. But the Velcro strap over my instep took a lot of tugging and cajoling in order to get even just the tips fastened, and the resulting pressure was highly uncomfortable. I've had this high instep for life, and my mother taught me early how to use alcohol to stretch my shoes, so I've sprayed a bit of alcohol under the straps, refastened them, and am hoping they will stretch. I think they probably would have even when just normal wear, but I wouldn't have worn them if they were painful. As for looks -- I mean, compared to my usual Birkenstocks, they look quite refined. I got the vanilla because I love a vanilla-colored shoe, but also because I can see wearing these to an outdoor wedding. I mean, they are just shoes. I would love the way they looked more if there wasn't so much Velcro visible after attaching them. But I doubt other people will notice/care and hopefully I'll stop seeing it after a while.

Super comfy. I kept the nude color and returned the black. You cannot go wrong with SAS for comfort and support.

The problem I have had is that the metal buckle rubbed a spot on my right ankle. It still hurts so I’m goin to have to return them.

The sandal is comfortable with lots of cushioning. Arch support is a bit lacking--shoe would be greatly improved by greater arch support.

I have a bone that protrudes from the right side of my right foot and the buckle on this sandal pressed and rubbed on that bone and that's why I returned them.

These sandals felt fairly comfortable to walk in, except they were at least a half size larger than the 8 1/2 I usually wear, These ended at least a half inch beyond my toes and I could tell I'd be catching them and stumbling in them as I walked. I can trip over the flowers in the carpet; I don't need more help.

The fit was good since the style is so adjustable. The materials and workmanship were good. The style is wide and a bit clunky, and it didn't look great on my foot, so I decided to return, since I ordered several pair to try and found a different style that worked better for me.
