Comfortable! No other sandals compare - not even Birkenstocks!

The best shoes in the world! It was hard for me to give up high heels, but SAS shoes give me the freedom to live life more and 'perform' life less. Thank you!

Most comfortable sandal ever.

I have been wearing these sandals for about 17 years. My first pair finally got replaced a few years ago...and I wish they offered more colors! Purple, Red, Navy, and Sage green!!! The black is my all time classic and I love the material on the insole and sole on that style. I have several other colors. I just ordered them in the Pink Sparkle and I had thought it was purple until I received them...and so wish it was purple. I have a high arch, tall instep (which requires a wide width) and extremely sensitive feet...yet I can wear these sandals without socks with total comfort. I just found out the local SAS store was closed. Please bring it back!!!

Comfortable from the first time you wear them.

This is, by far, my favorite sandal. I love the support and adjustability that the straps provide. I have several pairs in a variety of colors to coordinate with my wardrobe. I have very happy feet!

These sandals are worth every penny. They're very comfortable and the straps are adjustable to fit one's foot. Plus they're pretty and I've received various compliments while wearing them. Thank you.

They are just what I expected.

These shoes go the distance by providing excellent arch support and softness to my feet. Cute colors, too. I went wild on the pink and love them. Normally I'm a blue and neutral tone sandal person. I own several pairs and rotate them. Cleaning? Mild dish detergent and a soft dish brush for the win. Place outside on a chair in the morning, and move to indirect sun by mid morning. And yes, I am that person who wears them year round. I live in Texas.

I have a pair of these that I have been wearing for about 6 years now. They are hands down the most comfortable pair of footwear I have ever worn. I have rather sensitive feet and have struggled all my life to find shoes that don't cause me pain or give me blisters. This is the only pair of shoes I have ever had that were completely comfortable from the first day, and that I can wear all day long, even walking for miles, without a moment's pain or discomfort or needing to take them off to give my feet some relief. SAS Shoes on the whole are more comfortable than almost any others, but this particular style is in the number one spot. If you examine their construction, you can see why they are so comfortable. The leather is very soft, with no sharp edges to irritate the skin, and all the stitches are concealed inside the double-layer upper. The buckles are positioned so that they do NOT press against the foot anywhere. There was absolutely no break-in period required and no need to soften anything up. From the first moment I put them on, there was nothing but comfort. Despite being so soft and comfortable, they are also quite durable. I have worn these sandals hundreds of times, and they are still in very good condition, with no discernible wear to the leather, and only moderate wear to the soles. The only repair that had been needed has been to replace the elastic on the heel strap buckles one time. I was so taken with these sandals, that I insisted on taking my husband to the SAS store to get him a pair of the men's style. He had previously worn other brands that he thought were comfortable. Once he tried on the SAS sandals, he never again wore his others. Please, please, do not ever stop making this style. Granted, they are not the cutest or most stylish sandals, but I don't care. Most of the features that make a shoe stylish also tend to make it less comfortable. Please keep making these for those of us who just want comfort.

I wear these shoes every day. They are very comfortable.

I bought a pair of these sandals last year, size 11.5 M in a red plaid pattern and I love them! Very comfortable on my toes and it's just getting warm enough to wear them again this year! I am disappointed, however, that SAS no longer makes this shoe in red! There must be other gals who have big feet and love RED!!!
