Very comfortable from the start. Support is comfortable and yet therapeutic. I tried these shoes to help with back pain issues. They seem to work well.

This is a beautiful shoe that I have to return. The heel was too wide making it impossible to keep my foot in the shoe. A combination last would have made this a perfect shoe for me. PLEASE bring back combination lasts!

I wanted this shoe to use for jazz dance class. I have terrible feet from years of performing and dancing in 4 inch heels. These shoes did not have the flexibility I would need for dance class.

I thought the style was very attractive and exactly what I was looking for, but unfortunately they didn't fit my foot well at all. The leather was lovely and they seemed to be made well but I gave them an overall lower rating because in my opinion they were not true to size or especially styled for wide shoes. I found the right shoe in Dansko.

I found the shoe surface stiff, very hard and narrower than expected. I am returning them.

I have a very narrow foot, so I order a narrow. The shoe was too narrow in the toe. Also for a walking shoe, the sole should have been stiffer. I was disappointed in this shoe, because it didn't look as dorky as some others, and I was hoping it would be very comfortable. I'm returning the shoes.

The shoe fit nothing like my previous purchases of SAS shoes. I ordered 9W, and could barely get my foot into them. Also they felt very stiff. Probably the first pair of SAS that I had ever had to return. Very disappointed. ??

These shoes are AT least two sizes smaller than a size 8. They are an inch shorter than any shoes I own. What a waste of my time not to have quality assurance that could just LOOK at them and see they aren’t the right size.

I ordered a 8M, it says it's a 8M but it fits like a size 6!!! Not happy with company. This is the 3rd time in a row things were wrong!

Wearing a size 5, I can rarely find a narrow shoe, so I settle for a medium width. These shoes feel slightly narrower than a medium, yet the toe box is perfectly shaped so there’s no pinching on my little toe. These shoes feel very comfortable and supportive. I wear them with cute socks. Keepers.

Loved the shoes. Unfortunately, due to surgery, cannot wear them. Tried wearing them indoors but felt uncomfortable. Great look.

I bought these in a size 11 narrow and they fit well. I wore them with a long dress for my son's wedding, and I kept them on from about 3pm until about 11pm, which says something because I never wear dressy shoes anymore. My feet were a little tired at the end of the night, but that's to be expected. But no blisters! These look nice, the strap is a true strap (not velcro!), and they're well made. I initially didn't want to pay so much and tried several less expensive pairs (all of which had to be returned) before I decided to purchase the SAS shoes. I can wear them with other dresses, skirts, or nice pants.

REALLY liked this shoe in every way; classic style, great quality, comfortable. Size felt right in length & width. However, heel kept slipping no matter what kind of sock/stocking I tried, and in spite of the MaryJane style...which is the only style I can use given I have an extremely narrow heel. Disappointing!! Always a problem for me--I wish manufacturers would provide narrow-heel options. My size: 8M, but typically heel is too wide. Unfortunately, same was true for the second pair I wsa trying. I have a hard time, but occasionally get lucky!!

At last! This is an extremely comfortable Mary Jane and it fit my long narrow feet right out of the box. Thank you SAS! I’ll be back for more styles!

they fit great

I have severe arthritis in my left foot and I need narrow shoes that also offer support. I think these shoes might be comfortable if I had ordered the correct size but I’m not sure they would have been narrow enough or whether they would give the support I need and whether I would have been able to walk all day in them.

These are well made, quality leather shoes. The fit was good in size and width. This pair had small scratches on one of the shoes on the upper leather (toes area). I would have still kept them, but unfortunately, I have to return them as they are too difficult for our daughter with DS to buckle.
