The fit was good, the arch support hit me right where I needed it. I liked the color and the material. The style isn't too old-lady looking. The only reason I'm sending them back is the price. I have a brown pair, and I just can't justify spending this much on a second pair.

The leather was very nice and soft. The craftsmanship was excellent. That ends the positive comments and why a 2 star rating. They fit in length as they should but for a C width the shoe last is not wide enough to accommodate the foot's width. The soft leather allows your foot to fit and the leather expands to accommodate but the sole is narrow. I would not consider going wider because the heel already slips slightly on the C width. There was not sufficient toe box room for this to be considered a comfort shoe, especially for people with wider toe boxes. I should have read the many comparable reviews at the end of the review pages. It seems those posted early on are all positive. Finally, there is little support for the mid foot area over the arch. I could slip my fingers under the top of the shoe yet the toe box was tight. Without any support on top you were not adequately pressed to the arch. Toe box room is key. Wanted these to work but returned.

Didn't even try these on. I thought they would be more stylish in person, but they look like uniform shoes, which I guess is great if that's what you need.

At least 1/2 in shorter than the SAS comfort walker. There is no indication of size or width on either shoe.

I have worn an 8 medium for years and now the 8 M is a bit too long ....definitely a half inch longer than the 8M that I am wearing ... What happened?

shoes are lovely, but are too small. I'm sorry they haven't worked out. dr . is recommending I wear a different shoe. will be back with you if I can. thank you.
