Put them on and wore them right out of the box. I have a lot of trouble finding shoes in a narrow width to begin with, and then they are often too tight in the toe box. These people know how to make shoes right - narrow overall, but room for your toes to wiggle. When I moved here we had a SAS shoe store, but it closed. I'm sure it was because their shoes seem expensive for moderate income people. But I have a pair of SAS loafers I bought in about 1982 and I still wear them. They LAST!

I love SAS loafers. Savvy is the most comfortable one I have ever tried. I so wanted to keep the pair of Twin I ordered but couldn't because I have high arches and found the elastic insert made my food ache. I had no success with either Metro or Simplify. I wish Zappos would stock this in wine. SAS makes Savvy in quite a few colors including wine. However, it looks as though Zappos may be planning to eliminate Savvy entirely because the stock seems to be dwindling. They stock neither color in my size. The leather is so soft and pliable that the shoe molds itself to my foot. I hope Zappos doesn't give up on this shoe.

I love SAS shoes. In fact, I probably don't wear any other brand! The Savvy is a great shoe out of the box. Another reviewer wrote that it is a grandma's shoe, and that's OK because I am a grandma, but it is much, MUCH cuter than some other comfortable shoes that I have bought and worn. I like the perforations on the top because I have a long foot (10.5), and they give the shoes some interest. Until recently, I've worn a 10N, but since my toe keeps coming through, I upped to a 10.5, and I would say that I think I would have liked a slim instead of narrow for this shoe. Still, I am wearing it all the time, and love the comfort!
