At 88, my mom is on her fifth or sixth pair of SAS shoes. She beat cancer this year and I helped her celebrate with a new pair in her favorite color. It used to be a fun trip to take her to Knoxville TN for her shoes, but the pandemic and her frailty made that a no-go in 2020. It was great to be able to order them! Your people on the phone and in the shops are good at their jobs. Thanks

What an amazing shoe! Looks stylish enough to wear at work but provides great support and isn't very heavy.

I've been purchasing SAS shoes for 29 years. Great for walking, shopping trips, running up and down stairs, sight-seeing, housework. One of few shoes I can find in my size, 101/2 Narrow. They also have comfortable dress shoes.

I used to wear SAS shoes until the local store moved. I purchased these and wasn't sure what width to buy. I did contact customer service and they were helpful. The width I ordered is perfect. I haven't worn them much yet but they are comfortable. I wear Orthotics and they work just fine in these shoes. Love them and looking forward to many years of wear.

These shoes really run wide. Some wide shoes are fine, some are too tight, and these are exceptionally wide. I ordered the WW hoping they would be OK, but they are just too wide, so back they go. But the shoe itself is well made and comfortable, although it is not that attractive, although I think the charcoal nubuck is by far the most attractive color of the offerings. Recommended, but pay attention to width. The size itself runs true.

Boy, these used to be so comfortable. Don't know what they did to the sole, but it is hard as a rock. Very disappointed.

I can normally wear a SAS shoes quite comfortably, but this pair is just not comfortable. I felt like the narrow, sewn part of tongue was pushing down on my instep. I know the color is supposed to be denim, but it was a very dull denim, not with depth at all. It is disappointing. I really wanted an Oxford style shoe and these were the only pair I saw that came in a wide size.

The seam where the tongue is attached to the shoe irritated the top of my feet

I wanted to try this oxford-like style from SAS, being real tired of athletic shoes not being comfy for my changing feet. Many years ago, I loved a low cut SAS oxford that came in many colors, but it hasn't been made for a long time. This shoe is made of really nice leather, but it runs very large. My usual 7 was a full size too large, yet the width in Wide was fine. I was excited about the Tripad insole & underneath heel/forefoot cushion pads, but there are 2 glaring faults. 1) There is no heel cup in the insole, and that insole doesn't meet all the way to the sides of the shoe. It's cut short so you feel a sharp edge all around. 2) There is an obvious hard bump under the insole, made into the shoe, right at the outside of the heel. I couldn't ignore that awful feeling as soon as I walked a few steps. It seems to me that SAS is cutting corners, but still charging top dollar.

The toe box is bulky, not an attractive look for someone already having big feet.

I bought a pair of these ten years ago in walnut. I bought these expecting the same shoe I have, but I was disappointed in the quality. The amount of padding behind the ankle is about half what it used to be. Furthermore, the foot bed was uneven in the toe area, making walking uncomfortable.

I've been buying Free Time Walking shoes for many years now. My only concern is they don't age well. They are still very comfortable but the leather doesn't look good after awhile.

I love this style of shoe but I have 2 new pair and once worn there is a wrinkle across the toe area and the pain from it is bad. I cannot wear them. Anything you know of the would help

Fit and size were just perfect. Nice soft leather to make my feet feel awesome (if not particularly attractive) I'll buy them again.

So happy to find shoes to fit my ugly bunions. Thanks Zappos for having WW. Not I might not get holes in the sides of my shoes.

Comfortable, fits orthotics, ventilation holes reduce sweating. Shoe bottom is groove-less, so no dirt and gravel accumulation.

I am a longtime SAS wearer, so no surprises with this shoe. I have it in three colors. It is a pleasure buying from Zappos.

After searching for a good pair of shoes that kept my feet from hurting after a 12 hour day, I finally found SAS. I have bought nothing but these shoes for years. I usually treat myself at Christmas or birthday with a new pair and this year is no exception. They hold up well, feel great, are comfortable to wear all day. Likewise the sandals. All of the SAS shoes are top of the line, and believe me, I've tried many styles and brands.

These felt true to size, with great arch support, which was the main reason I bought them. The charcoal is actually black suede, and I sprayed a Scotchgard-type water repellent on them before I wore them to have some added protection. Surprisingly, the style isn't too bad at all. They are very supportive without looking like orthopedic shoes. Although pricey, extremely pleased with the purchase.

Just wore the new pair today -- perfect comfort out of the box! They are long-lasting shoes, have had a previous pair for at least 15 years. I wear 7 WW size, and have a bunion on one foot. Was curious to see whether the new pair would be uncomfortable; it is tighter than my old pair but not painful or any problem. I like the removable sole inserts too. If the shoes feel small, these can be taken out and even replaced with something else. Completely satisfied with these and recommend them for anyone, esp if you on are your feet a lot. I am over 65 years old, and the style is fine with me.

In the past 10 years, my feet have not been tolerant of any shoe, but thanks to your ever patient, and caring philosophy, and product know-how, I am now wearing a "Size 8-wide SAS shoe" which is the best fit for me. I thank you for all the help you provided and as always putting the customer first. You have the best reps in the world who helped me along the way. I am so grateful. (I have a burning issue yet on the bottom of my flat feet; but I will purchase cushioned insoles to resolve that issue).
