Like so many people purchasing SAS shoes, my feet called for something unique. Prior to the newest orthotics that I've needed to wear, I was able to handle an 8.5 size in 3 or 4 E width. By removing the SAS innersole and inserting two orthotic pads into these, I am able to walk comfortably. Great quality leather and I like the look but most important for me is the comfort I am now experiencing.

Used as an everyday casual shoe. Nice fit, finish, and comfortable. First time I have purchased a SAS shoe over the internet. I normally purchase from an outlet in Tacoma, WA. One question. In the past, when purchasing a SAS shoe from the store, I have always received an extra set of shoe laces. What gives?

Primarily he wears them indoors: they remain comfortable for his high arch and aging feet throughout the day and give him the stability he needs .

I have worn nothing but SAS shoes for more than 20 years. The quality is unmatched. I find it awesome that SAS has half sizes above size 12 and all sizes with a full range of widths. Originally, I would go to a store that carried SAS shoes and order what I needed, but this was cumbersome and time consuming. I then found that I could call SAS and order what I wanted on the phone, which was a huge improvement. Now I can order online direct from SAS. Yay!

I have worn SAS shoes for 25 years. I am on my feet for many hours at work. The Bout Time gives great support and comfort to me. This is my favorite style since the discontinued Path Finder.

The SAS Bout Time shoe is great. I have a pair that must be 15 years old---and they are still supportive even though age has made them even more comfortable. I bought this pair because I broke my foot and I needed a shoe to give me support and a hard sole. SAS Bout Time to the rescue. Wearing them now and they are helping me take my first hesitant steps. A roomy toe pan (do I have that terminology right?) make them comfortable even though my darn foot is swollen. When my foot gets better, my Bout Times will be even more perfect. I know this because this pair is my third pair. A wonderful shoe for me. Might be for you, too.
I'd also recommend:
Converse Chuck Taylor Hight-Tops. Zig-Zag Desert Boot.

My husband LOVES these shoes. Recently he was hospitalized and the shoes were misplaced when he was moved from one room to another. Now that the weather's nice for walking, he was eager to get his favorite shoes back - and it occurred I could order them on line. They arrived promptly, fit perfectly, and are great for his walks!

The leather texture does not show scuffs etc like a a smooth finish would, love the low maintenance. Semi casual fits my life style and walking comfort propels me to and from work.

My husband has been wearing this style of shoe for several years, and does not plan to try anything else! With ordering direct from SAS, we no longer have to call around town looking for these shoes and no longer have to wait until the shoe store places an order with SAS. Out of the box, on to the feet and out for stroll. They are perfect!

The shoes are my husbands favorite shoes of all time. He said they are the only shoe that is comfortable from the moment he puts them on. He wears them to church, then after he has them for a long while, he wears them to work. He just keeps the cycle going. They are very durable.

What a great shoe company and what a great product. The price is well worth it. I only wish they wouldn't be so chintzy about the shipping charges. We who are willing to pay the higher price for great shoes certainly deserve free shippoing.

I have been wearing SAS shoes for about 30 years. They are the most comfortable and supportive shoes available. They are especially good shoes for anyone who works on their feet a lot. I currently have eight active pairs of SAS shoes, both casual and dress. The bout time lace up loafer is my favorite casual shoe.
