I am 5'4'' and about 115-120lbs and more of an athletic pear shaped body. I ordered an extra small and a small. The extra small fit in the waist well but was too tight around the legs. I ended up keeping the small although the waist was big because I could just use the drawstring and the small allowed for more movement in the legs. Ultimately, these aren't the best fit for me but I liked the style and I needed them quickly.

Love these shorts! I was looking for a lightweight short for the summer that I could use in and out of the water, and these are perfect. I am slim but have had three kids, so stylish but not 'teenager-ish' was what I was after. I think these are actually better looking in person. I love the dip upward on the side of the short. Very flattering to the leg. I think they run a little big. I typically wear a small and needed an xs. The only improvement would be pockets. Recommend for sure.
