Very light feel, but really warm. The arms, waist and neck area are generous in movement, warmth and comfort without any extra weight. I'm 5.7 and 170#...wear medium. I spent a week in Colorado recently and stayed warm with minimal underlayers. I tried on many traditional snow jacket brands prior to buying this jacket but this one fit best. The conditions were windy, cold 30's and snowy and I stayed dry. My only request would be more interesting color options...otherwise a great jacket.
