this was my gift for my daughter who is a high school student

I use this backpack for school uses, but if I were to travel or go hiking I would definitely take my north face backpack with me!

I am a sophomore in high school and this is my second north face backpack! There was absolutely nothing wrong with the first one I had, but I used it for 4 years and just wanted something different! I LOVE the north face backpacks! They are the best quality, comfortable and fit all my stuff!

Mesh pocket is perfect for u-lock. Padding and shape is very comfortable. Ideal for use as daily commuter backpack.

Backpack is great and very supportive. It came in right on time and the padding on the back is very nice. I just wish there was something on the bottom to keep the backpack up right

This bagpack is great for day hikes and around campus. It's comfortable and protects my books from the rain.

Extremely comfortable and easy to carry. Has plenty of room, I went to school with it and held everything I needed. Great backpack!

This is my second North Face Recon backpack. My previous one is still going strong after 4+ years of use, but I wanted a change. I love the ease of use of this model - well-thought-out pockets, large zippered openings, comfortable padding ... I may never buy a different pack!!!

Everyday use for school

I use this for my school backpack. It fits a lot of material and I really enjoy it.

Love this backpack- color is awesome. Using for school- holds laptop, books, extra essentials, but not too big. Two side pockets for water and extra back pocket for quick access items. Lightweight, good padding, durable. Thanks!

I bought this backpack for my 13 year old little sister. AND SHE LOVES IT! Finding the right bag for her is difficult because she has a physical handicap, and year after year Northface backpacks come through. It has plenty of space for her books, and all the little extras teenage girls carry. And it looks cool too, which is most important to her. This backpack helped to firmly secure the brother of the year award...again. Lol.

Seems to be a really nice backpack, especially with the front expandable pocket for shoes or whatever.

I upgraded from a surge and borealis which is pretty cool. Now I'm a senior at UNCW and all my books and notebooks fit and the weight is so light. I'm so glad I made this purchase at such a great price!! North face never lets me or my family's needs down b

My daughter uses this backpack for high school and for casual weekend trips or hiking. She's so happy with it because it stands up strong to a lot of use and it's aesthetically pleasing, not to mention all the pockets and the protective laptop sleeve. Her only wish was that it had a wider width at the bottom for her school books. It's a high quality backpack that she can use for a long time! We are happy!

Yes - this was a gift... to a College student at Western Carolina University who has very limited resources and was in desperate need of a new backpack , She was afraid to ask if we could possibly help her out with this expense, but with some moderate coaxing, we got her to acknowledge it sure would be nice to have a new one ! We made it happen for her, and she is absolutely gracious, grateful, and ever so thankful to now be able to keep her books, papers, etc., dry and safe for the upcoming academic year in the mountains of our beautiful North Carolina.

After a visit to Yosemite we were inspired to get our son a North Face bag for school.

I bought this backpack because my precious North Face one (purchased 4+ years ago) finally started breaking down. I generally use the backpack for school (I am now a college sophomore) and for traveling as a carry-on. Similarly to the old pack it's very lightweight, but can still hold a lot and is comfortable (that said, the straps are a little scratchy on my arms when I'm wearing a tank top). I really like the new laptop and tablet pockets, they make me feel like my devices are a lot safer then in previous versions of the pack. I purchased the blue (it says green on the site but clearly is blue) and grey diamond design backpack and love the simple, but fun design. I would definitely recommend this backpack to everyone as it is durable, functional, and stylish.
