Absolutely a great backpack! I bought it to use for college as I am a freshman now. Just a fantastic bag. I can fit my laptop, iPad, 3 textbooks, two water bottles, a couple notebooks, pens, pencils and just about anything else I need. I've had this bag just about full and road a bicycle with it and its great. Once you tighten the straps, it doesnt move ans throw you off balance at all. I fit everything I need in it for an entire day and it feels great. You can barely tell that its there. A little pricy but its great quality and a great back pack. I am completely satisfied with it!

I bought this pack for my son who is a junior in high school. I've purchased only 2 before this because they last so long! He is rough on the packs, throwing them around whenever he stands still. These packs are worth their price. The fabric stays together. The zippers don't break. The padding stays plump. LOVE NORTH FACE!

I purchased this backpack for my high school son. They don't have lockers so they have to carry around heavy books & binders all day! My son has scoliosis so it was important to me that he had a backpack that would be comfortable, durable and would also provide some level of back support...

Great everyday commuter backpack. Very comfy and well built. It has been great on foot and on bike. Only con is that it doesn't stand upright too well when set on the floor.

I had heard about NORTHFACE through a friend, and I was skeptical about getting the Northface Router Transit Backpack for about a year because of the price. But I finally ordered it and what can I say its a very sturdy backpack. Only problem I have with it, is that the bottom of it is smaller then the Surge Transit which I also own. And I found that to be a problem because the Surge seems to fit more then the Router Transit, even tho Northface claims the the Router is 40L and the Surge is 38L. But besides that, both of the backpacks are VERY good in every other way.

At first when I had gotten the backpack, I had honestly hated how tall it was, it just seemed to big but once I started filling it up with stuff the bag started to even out and now I honestly love it. It's really roomy which is perfect since I'm a college student and it has a modern classic stylish look to it. If your on the edge on what backpack to buy, get the router! It never fails to impress me

Bought for my husband who will be traveling a lot more for work. This is way better than his old briefcase. Easy to travel with and looks great.

I've had an old North Face backpack since I was in high school, (over 12 years,) and I've used it on numerous vacations since. (It's an incredible carry-on.) But I was in the market for a new one since I'm going back to school, and my old trusty is just now starting to wear down a little. I bought this one mainly because it has a lot of the features my old one does, but also because it's a pretty color. :) Thank you North Face for another fantastic purchase.

The North Face hit it out of the ballpark with the Router Transit backpack! I have owned North Face back packs all of my life, and this one takes the cake. Even though this is North Face's largest backpack, it still has a modern and stylish design. I would most definitely recommend this backpack to commuters/travelers.

I bought this item to use it as a carry-on bag because I have a trip coming up and I wanted to fill in the bag as much as I could. I found the bag to be really roomy and I managed to fit a lot of things in my backpack. Really happy with the purchase!

Although the zippers on the large section get jammed when I try to cram my gym gear in there, this bag has been exactly what I've been looking for. It is extremely big and fashionable; making it perfect for business, travel, school, or the gym!

I'm a full time college student who works part time, so i'm always on the go. This pack works wonderful with all my books; the best part is the laptop compartment. I feel that my laptop is safe ( 15" MacBook Pro ), and it fits well and has room for all of its accessories. 10/10, would recommend.

Having a large laptop, it was hard to find a backpack big enough to hold it. I was not disappointed here. Not only did my laptop fit, I am still able to fit ample amounts of books.

This is a great backpack, the rigid back is great for keeping the pack stable and your laptop protected. There are plenty of pockets all around the pack for ample storage; there is also some variety in the types of pockets, some are mesh (good for seeing what is inside), others are lined with microfiber (good for keeping things clean), some are just standard canvas. Every square inch of this product is maximized for efficiency and ease of use. I would say this backpack is slightly over "medium-sized," so if you're looking for something ultra compact this most likely isn't your best option (I'm 6'1" and the backpack is scaled to fit my back well).

I love this backpack. It is lighter than expected and distributes the weight really well. It was a little stiff at first but has broken in nicely. It's also a little bigger than shown in the pictures but it is a great size for commuting. Fits my laptop, iPad, chargers, and a change of clothes easily. Would definitely buy it again.

This backpack is awesome!!! I was looking for a bag that was large enough to fit clothes and such for weekends away and this was perfect. Very roomy, lots of convenient pockets and organization and very sturdy. A bit pricy but thankfully I had a gift card from the holidays. Quality justifies the cost. Only con is that it does feel a bit heavy, even when empty.
