Customer Reviews French Sole Vogue

I originally ordered a size 8 which I slipped out of (I'm usually between an 8 and 8 1/2) so I exchanged these for size 7.5 and they fit perfect! I wore them around the house for a few hours and then all over Europe while on vacation :D! No blisters or sore heel, these are very comfortable! These ballerinas are however pricey or I would get these in several colors. For this price I really expect a leather sole and not a rubber sole but oh well, can't win them all. The natural leather color is very nice, a neutral color which goes well with any outfit. Overall, I don't regret this purchase and highly recommend these, despite the price point!

These are a lovely, well-made shoe. I'm only returning it because the red is a tad too orange-y for me, and they squeak. It's mighty hard for reds to reproduce well on a monitor.

I wrote a review saying I had to return these shoes because they squeaked! I ordered them again and tried baby powder inside the shoes. It worked! Now I can keep these great shoes and offer this tip to other buyers for any shoes that squeak. Found this info in the internet!

These are great city shoes. They are well made and have a nice rubber sole. The woven leather helps keep your feet cooler too. The shoes are a little on the wide side, which is fine for me; otherwise, I found they ran true to size. As with most ballet flats, there is not a lot of arch support. The brick red color compliments a lot of outfits, and they are also dressy enough for a formal workplace. Finally, a shoe that is comfy enough to walk to work in that I don't need to change when I get there! I bought them in two colors and anticipate on getting a lot of wear out of them. The price is high for the quality. There is toe cleavage.

I gave this shoe an overall 3 because the inside lining is a man made material that feels awful against my foot. I'm keeping the shoe though because I love the look, it's comfortable and it's french sole quality everywhere (but the liner). This is my 4th pair in this brand over a period of 5 years and I'm just now retiring my original pair (with a leather lining)!

I LOVED these shoes. There are of a high quality leather and the weave is very nice. HOWEVER, THEY SQUEAK LOUDLY WHEN I WALK. HAD TO RETURN. BOO HOO!
