I work as a chef. I am on my feet and moving around 10 ? 12 hours a day.
I have been wearing Harrington Oxford work shoes for just about 20 years. They stand up to the punishment and fit my ?hobbit? feet.
Recently I had to return a pair that was the wrong order and Dr. Scholl?s acted very graciously during the return process.

Shoes were my father who is 80 and this style gives him the comfort he loves and the style that can be worn as casual or dressed up and always looks great. I have given Pops both colors and it is his favorite brand .

I've had these shoes before. I wore them out so, I wanted another pair. After searching our local stores & none to be found I went on line to the dr schools site & purchased my most favorite work shoe. I'm on my feet everyday, these give me the comfort & support I need. Yes, I'll purchase them again when I wear these baby's out ;-)

I like the shoes but in the first couple months the sole started pealing back on rear sole and I just sit at desk and shoes get very little mileage.

I am still on my second pair. I prefer the older ones with the yellow wear bars in the soles that worked EXCELLENT even on concrete. I wish they would bring those back. I had to use insoles, but found these to be very comfortable.

I really like these Dr. Scholls, and have been wearing this model for 15 year sor more. The only think I don't like is the new tread. The old yellow striped soles were much better. The new black soles have very narrow rills in which small particles (stones, sticks, etc) get stuck and hard to remove. Herr Dr., please go back to the yellow striped soles!

I have pirchased these shoes many times over the years. I wear them all the time while teaching school, at home, and anywhere that I am working outside. Things that I like are the stitched soles, the nonmarking aspect, the real leather, and the blue inserts. I do find that the laces wear out after about a year. Also the cushioning around the ankle peels and looks terrible...this should be remedied. The leather shoe itself polishes up nice for special events. On my most recent pair, my left shoe lower sole has begun to separate from the inner sole. Maybe not enough glue?? Or just because I bend this shoe more as I squat while working?? I still thing these are the best shoes that I have had for comfort. I have previously been a shoe repairman and when my sisters bought me my first pair of Dr. Scholl's shoes, I just kept on buying more of the same as the years went by.

Once they're broken in and you've replaced the insoles they come with, these nonslips are great! Was sorely disappointed by the default insoles, given that these are work shoes.

These shoes scuff. My last pair (similar but not Harrington II did not scuff. When putting the shoes on the tongue wants to crimp and must be pulled straight something else the last pair did not due.
I am very happy with the shoes and look forward to enjoying them for a long time.

Love the shoes , but they sent me 2 right shoes and no left. When I emailed to the and let them know they wanted pics , etc. Just sell me 2 left shoes so I can start wearing a pair. Great work shoes

Great for work! Over-all these shoes are pretty good. The tread on the bottom wore down quite a bit over a short period of time (three months), but I do tend to walk and be on my feet quite a lot, and over a variety of surfaces, (pavement, crushed stones, etc.) I purchased a second pair of these and want to see how long they hold up. Worth the price for style, comfort, and overall durability.

The style or leather material of this shoe has changed regarding the upper and the stitching around the sole has also changed. It now looks more like a "industrial" shoe. The previous model could pass as a "dress" shoe. However it is seems well made and should wear well.

Shoes are comfortable and wear well. Towards the end of life the tread starts to separate from shoe.

They were the most comfortable pair of shoes out of the box. My biggest concern is that the sole separated after 4 months or so and after 5 months their was no tread left.

I continue to buy these shoes for the last 2 decades as they are almost perfect for office/warehouse working environment. I notice a few changes throughout the years, but they are comfortable and can be dress or casual.

I am a woman who likes these shoes and keeps buying a new pair every 2-3 years. I keep 2-3 old pairs on hand for various levels of rough use so the newest pair stays nice. I know this is unusual for a woman, but the shoes are comfortable with soft insoles and reasonably durable leather. I only oil or polish the nice pair a couple times per year. The first place they fail after 4-6 years of use is the sole comes unattached under the toe. Sometimes I glue it back but by then it's really time to get a new pair. The toe stays round and presentable for at least four years.

This is my second pair. I have a narrow, high arch and this is the most comfortable shoe I have owned in the last 40 years. I do feel however that the bonding glue does break down too early. These shoes were never worn much but over a 5 year period they came dis-bonded. Always stored in the air conditioning. Nothing wrong with the old ones so I'll get them repaired and have 2 pair. Thank you Dr. Scholl's
