Although I gave high ratings, a couple of words of caution: My husband is about 5 feet 9 inches, and he found the boot to be a bit to high for him. He has larger calves, and he said these were a bit tight in that area. They are good quality boots though. He opted for the Kamik Hunter because it is roughly a couple of inches shorter (and it has a removable lining).

Purchased these boots in October 2019 ... a few months ago, they started to crack...so they lasted 8-9 months. Early, maybe 2 months after purchase, I made 2 repairs, one for a cut that was caused by a thorn (never had that happen before) and a small area that was starting to crack.

I have had these for almost 2 years and I'm still so happy with them. They slip on so easily and are extremely comfortable to wear. The fit was good the first time and true to size. I have thought about ordering another pair but they are so durable, I think they might outlast me. I highly recommend them.

My primary use is walking the dog in our open field, some garden and general yard work, but nothing in terms of wear or environment that should age a quality rubber boot that quickly. Very disappointed because in general I liked the boots and looked forward to several years of wear.

These boots fit well and were comfortable but lasted only a few months of light wear before the rubber on the top of the boot over the instep started to crack and the boots leaked. I contacted customer service at Baffin and they replied that if the boot suffered from a manufacturers defect, it would show up in the first month. In other words, this is not a defect and if I buy another pair I can expect the same thing to happen again. This is too much money to spend on a boot that only lasted 8 months. I will not buy any Baffin product again.

A shoe that is wide enough for a man. Taller than most boots of this category. If you’re in the half size category, like me in most shoes, size down. I got a pair of the other Canadian brand awhile back through Zappos parent. Sure they were cheap, but they are narrow and tight...lady style boots. They’re going into the donation pile. Now, this is my second pair of Baffins and the first pair lasted five years of working in salt water and brackish marsh. Get the Baffins, you wont be sorry.

The difference is placing nice insoles inside the boots. Mind blowing. The boots fit very well now and are great while occasionally working 8 hours on some muddy construction sites as a journeyman plumber.

You get even less than what you pay for with these. Nothing fancy, fit was fine. But a week into using them occasionally, one boot is already ripping at the top. So disappointing.

Fit, size and look were fine. Decent price too. The problem was that they cracked after a few months of light wear. Pity!

I love these boots even though I am woman I ordered the mens because I have a wide feet. They fit perfectly and are very well made.
