Great looking shoe for a steel toe! My husband said “finally I don’t feel like I’m wearing clown shoes!” He’s on the executive team for the packaging industry. So while he doesn’t work on equipment, he’s out on the plant floors requiring steel toe shoes. He can go from meetings, to the plant floor with ease.

Zappos has the best purchase and return policy by far. I received these shoes in only 4 days. However, they felt markedly less comfortable than my current Rockport Dressports shoes due to the addition of the steel toe. I'm not sure they would be comfortable all day walking the factory floor. Probably good for a foreman that has to go from office to floor on an periodic basis. I returned them using Zappos awesome return policy. Now I'm shopping for no kidding Dressports like I have from 5 years ago. Hard to find.

My husband is happy with these pairs of non-slip, dress shoes. He purchased them for his work in an Independent Retirement Center. At every meal we are serving the residents beverages from the kitchen where the floor can at times be slippery to walk on. Thankfully these Rockport shoes are keeping him safe and looking great!! One suggestion I would make to Rockport is to add more arch support in these shoes - then you could call them a perfect pair of shoes.

These shoes run small in the toe.

It's hard to find dress shoes with a steel toe. These shoes are also rated for Electrical Hazzard and Slip/oil Resistant. I have had Rockport before and they are always comfortable and wear well. These shoes are replacing steel toe Hush Puppies which I thought were very comfortable but only after a break in period. There is definitely more room in the toe area with these Rockports. I typically get Dr. Scholl gel inserts for added comfort for my work shoes which I wear 11-12 hours a day, but at the moment feel no need to rush out and get them for these Rockports. I will admit I had to return the 1st pair delivered as the right shoe did not feel quite right, but I will attribute that to a previous foot injury and I frequently have comfort issues with new shoes on that foot. The second pair fit perfect and I'm keeping them!

I gave 3 stars for comfort because these are still steel toe shoes. For work shoes, Rockport makes comfortable shoes. I ordered one size larger and a wide shoe because of the steel toe. This helps with comfort.

They run small. I ordered 7.5 W and they feel pretty comfy but the tip in the toes area is a little narrow. I think is because of the steel toe. I think I need a half a size bigger.

Husband needed for work. They are a good durable shoe.

All in all decent shoes for what they are. They somehow feel too big and too small at the same time. Because of the steel toe I think they have to have a lot of vertical space in the shoe but because they’re wing tip style they have a horizontally tapered toe so it feels a little odd. They’re the best option I’ve found in the market but I don’t think I’d want to wear them every day. I’m in sales and I sometimes need to go on my customers production floors so i’ll use these selectively.

Good looking shoe but too heavy with steel toe. Each shoe weighs 18.5oz! Exchanged for lightweight total motion dressport which weigh 11oz each.

Shoe was too small and too heavy - did not realize the steel toe would add so much weight. Seemed well made and a good buy.

Shoe was too narrow, returning. Couldn't even get on the foot.

These are the MOST uncomfortable shoes I have ever had in my size. They say they are wide and that might be true down at the very top of the shoe but not where your toes and arch actually sit. I would have to order a full size larger for this “wide” shoe to fit and then it would be too long. IF you have unusually narrow feet these will probably be perfect. I have wide-ish feet so I can usually wear regular or wide and I just prefer the wide shoes. I wanted to amputate my own foot after walking around in these for 30 seconds.
