I was looking for a comfortable, stable dress shoe to wear for my daughter's wedding in June. I tried on at least a dozen different styles and theses were the most comfortable and stable. There is no arch support, but the lower block heel gives it some stability. I usually take a size 9 for length and sometimes I wear an 8.5 in a sandal. The 8.5 fits well. Be aware that if you have a wide ankle these shoes may not fit you. The ankle strap is somewhat short. My ankles are on the small side and I am using the last hole. If you pull then ankle strap around the heel so that it is secure before you buckle it, then it will stay more secure on your heel. I haven't worn them yet, but I walked around for a few minutes in the house and they didn't hurt anywhere, unlike many other shoes I tried on. The style is simple.

I loved both the platinum color and the soft gold in this shoe but felt the soft gold was actually more flattering. It's rare that I pick the gold over the silver but this one is not bright gold. I think it looks like a more expensive shoe!

Nice looking, but these fall off the back of my feet when I walk, like flip shoes.

cute shoe, but too tight. my feet are not widened neither are my ankles, so it is surprising that both the ankle strap and the foot strap are both too snug for comfort. I would've ordered a size up, but then the foot bed would've looked huge.
