I’ve been wearing the boots for over a month now and they’re the best. The boots themselves feel like they are tennis shoes with the kind of soles they have. They do take about a week or so to break in. I did have to get half a size bigger due to my regular size fitting a little tight. Now if you’re in a fire house, rapid removal of the boots isn’t the best. These boots are great if your on the ambulance though. Overall these boots are top notch and great to have.

Have worn the boots for 4 months and they are ripping out at the sem. They are not held together well. Have emailed 5.11 Tactical to see if they will stand behind their products.

These are an excellent duty boot for security or police type jobs. They are more like 10" tall not 8" as listed but other than that, I am very happy with these boots.

Now when I got the boots it did take about a week or so to break them in. They are just great to walk around in. It’s just like being in running shoes all day. These boots are great for Ems side of work. The boots aren’t the best at rapid removal for the fire department. Overall these are excellent boots to get.

These are smaller, in all ways, for the size. They get great reviews, but I'd need to go up a half size AND get double-wide -- which I never need to get. Too bad they don't sell that size here because the insole feels like heaven. Meanwhile, my foot is getting pinched and crushed.
