So far, so good. I have been wearing Timberland Pros for years and needed to go to a boot with no shoelaces because of a back issue. Bought 1/2 size smaller than my sneakers due to reviews and no problem there. Break in period was about 5 days. After that, these boots were super comfortable. I work in a metal shop and am on a concrete slab all week.

Lasted me about 2 years in a metal fabrication shop on concrete floors. Never wore through the toe and never wore out the leather upper. The soles were quality as well. Only complaint I have is the soles peel right off the bottom because they are just glued on. No extra stitching. This is the main reason I'm going to be trying another boot. All 3 pairs of my ariat boots have failed me in this area.

Took a couple days to get broke in but that's to be expected. I would have to say they are an average boot. They are not as comfortable after a couple weeks and the insoles are not the greatest though so far the rest of the boot is durable. I had a bit higher expectations. 3.5 stars for Me a person on concrete all shift.

This product looks very good and overall was a good boot, but i did have trouble early on when the front toe area began to fall apart revealing the steel underneath. Would recommend for anyone not using these for hard labor though.

After 2 returns(first one was a sizing issue) I thought the second pair was defective because there was no coverage over the top of the boot. Sent those boots back ordered a third pair because the representative said they were defective. Received the thrid pair and boots were exactly the same as the pair that we thought were defective. After talking with a representative they did some research and I sent photos of the boot they determined the boot did have a metguard. These boots do not have a metguard there is no protective rubber or plastic piece that covers over the top of the foot. Any other brand boot that I have had has had a dense rubber or a plastic part that covers the top of the foot internally. These should not be sold as metguard boots. And If so they need to research and redesign.

I have worn these brand of boots fire a while now and up until this pair I loved them. I told everyone that I worked with that they need to own these boots. This most resent pair i got did not live up to my standards though. The sides wore on my ankles and gave me blisters making me have to buy another boot. Maybe it was just this pair but it did make me lose faith in these boots.

The metguard is extremely uncomfortable and constantly applies uncomfortable pressure and rubs on my feet.

I was very excited to receive a pair of western styled work boots that met my company's safety requirements having MetGuard. Aesthetically, these boots look great, the exterior holds up well to the light labor and dirty manufacturing environment I'm exposed to. However, there are two key weaknesses for these boots: 1) The internal/integrated MetGuard presses against the top of your feet HARD. I hoped after wearing the boots everyday for a few months this would lessen but they never did and I would have to remove them eventually each day after losing feeling in the tops of my feet. 2) Not sure if I have high in-steps or another reason is the cause but the lining in the back of the boot's neck essentially completely tore out over time. Now requiring that I fish for the material after each time I insert my foot. These two issues make these boots unable to be worn, and me now having to locate a replacement after only 4 months of wear.

Was very disappointed with these boots. They are very well made and look great. They fit very well and where comfortable at first so I wore them to work. I work very long shifts standing on concrete all day and after wearing them for two weeks my feet have never hurt so bad in all my life. The internal met guard pressed into my foot and made it painful to walk. I have another pair of ariat boots with no safety features and they feel great. I cant return them now because they are worn and have gotten scuffed up from work. Very disappointed.
