Updated review: Initially I considered this shoes to be very comfy but as the day progressed they grew more and more uncomfortable even thought I was seated at my desk for most of the day and did very little walking or running around. By the end of the day the area around the topline of the shoe was red and sore and developed a blister. I purchased this pair of shoes in Wide but the toe box itself is narrower than a regular “B” shoe. By the time I got home, my toes were absolutely destroyed. I really think Lifestride in general runs narrow. Will not purchase again.

Cute and comfortable; exactly what I was looking for.

I was looking for black, vegan-leather wedges and these fit the bill perfectly! Very cute shoes that will be a staple in my work wardrobe. I know other reviews said they were uncomfortable, but I thought they were totally fine.

Fit wise, shoe feels great. After wearing one day, my feet were in great pain. Hoping that was the breakin day and they’ll be better the second time around.

Shoe is really pretty. It has some padding but is uncomfortable in the top front. By the end of the day commuting in them and working I felt like I needed to shuffle my way home.

Too tight across the instep! Unfortunately I must return them!

I work in a doctors office & on my feet all day. Perfect, most comfortable brand I only buy now for my work wardrobe..this pair is my third exact pair in 2 1/2 Years, I am very hard on my shoes typically, yet these hold up well everyday. Very comfortable shoes & I will continue to purchase! Bring more styles please Zappos!

I'm usually between an 8-8.5. I found this style to run larger than my other Lifestride wedges, but not enough that I wanted to order down to the size 8. I plan to put a small heel cushion in to fill the 1/4 inch gap in the back. They were comfortable out of the box for a full day of work. Professional and comfy, but don't look frumpy.

I was looking to replace a previous pair of [extremely comfortable] LifeStride wedges and ordered these thinking it would be the same shoe just different styling. Aside from a change in aesthetics, the biggest difference that I found in terms of comfort was that the vamp on this shoe is lower than previous versions, i.e. more "toe cleavage." It did feel as it the toe box was more narrow as well, and as a result I ended up with blisters on the tops of my toes. I'm not convinced that exchanging it for a wide width would solve the problem since my previous pair was absolutely perfect with the ever-so-slightly-higher vamp, and because after trying to widen them, the top of the vamp still rubs and causes blisters.

I ordered both the 7w and 7.5w. I wore a 7.5m for years because it was so difficult to find wide shoes. Since getting wide shoes easily at Zappos I wear a 7w and am so happy. As other reviewers have noted the heel area is a little big, but I think a heel pad or band aid will be fine. Returned the 7.5 and am loving the 7w.

I originally ordered 8 1/2 and it was too small. Reordered 9 and it was way too big..... ! So giving up on getting the right size for me in this shoe

I bought these in Navy and love the style. By the end of the day my feet do start to hurt a little bit if I am on them a lot. Overall, I’m really happy with them!

Super cute comfy shoes but too wide. I have others of this brand in same size that fit. Disappointed and they don't have them in smaller sz.

These are really cute but I had to return them - they really hurt the bunion on my right foot. I think if not for that, I might have kept them.

Very nice looking shoe but I had to return because of two things: These cut right across my bunion so even though it "fit" it was immediately painful. The other thing I didn't like is how much "toe cleavage" they showed. For a closed-toe shoe, I prefer my entire toe to me covered.

HUGE. Second pair of LifeStride wedges that I tried and they fall right off my feet. Order at least a half-size down (or a full).
