Wanted something to take the place of some Chucks. These slid right in. They are more comfortable then my old Chucks. Very good shoes.

In terms of style, i didn't think I'd like them at first because they seemed to be too punk looking. But when I put them on, they had a nice urban look and feel to them. They're also very comfortable. The width is perfectly sized with the length of the shoe. You won't feel like you're feet are going way over the sole when you step down unlike Converse where their soles are so narrow you'd think you've put on skis! For what its worth, I'm 6'1 and wear a size 13. They do have a hollow box sound when stepping down with your heal. A little annoying, but Converse do that as well. Not sure if its an engineering issue or just the way the material sounds. Finally, I've only had these for a week, so I don't have an idea on how good they are long term. Definitely worth trying if you're shopping for Converse or similar type shoes. I think it beats the competitors.

I am not a skateboarder-just somebody who happens to like the look of these (this style) of shoe, so I cannot comment on the durability of them, as it relates to skating. However, I can say that they are a really solid, well-built shoe-better than Vans (IMO) if you're comparing skating shoes. Liked the look so much that I bought 2 pairs (Black and Navy/Goldrush). So far, after a week of wear, I can only report that they are super comfortable, really well-built and look great-especially for a casual everyday shoe.

Bought these at my local skateshop, Funhouse, in Kitchener, ON. Have wide and flat size 9 feet. The shoes fit comfortably right from the beginning and the break in period was minimal. The insole support is good, if the purpose of the shoes is just walking around, etc., however, I prefer to use extra insoles for skateboarding. Have used NB shoes over the years for other activities like walking, powerlifting, and running. They never disappoint and always last a long time. I just replaced another pair of trainers after three years of continuous use and abuse.

The green is a great statement color and the shoe is very comfortable.

Skates Great! Very minimal break in period, lots of grip and cushioning without sacrificing board feel. And! The where wide enough to accommodate the bricks I have for feet! Very satisfied with this shoe

Very cool sneakers. Nice and roomy toe box. I can wiggle my toes. Looks like they will hold up well. Switched from Vans to NB in hope of the sole lasting longer.
