I ordered these shoes in a 41 and they were too short so I reordered them in a 42 and they fit fine. I usually wear a size 10 but don't order Mephisto in a 40 because they have been too short so I started ordering them in a 41 and now that was too short. The sizing is not consistent so I find I have to order the same shoe in two sizes and hopefully get the right fit.

The leather is a beautiful, textured blue. The true rubber sole provides great cushioning and traction. There is stability, with a nice, wide heel. My only caution - This style does run narrow, and perhaps a tad short. I normally wear 7B, or sometimes 6 1/2B in a sandal. I bought the 37 (7), and it couldn't be any shorter for me.

Love these shoes because of the adjustable strap across the foot. They're very comfortable. The only slight issue is I would prefer a little more padding at the ball of the foot. The arch support is great. As others have noticed, these do run a little short. The 41 is not really an 11, maybe more like a 10, but not a problem with sandals.

Because a number of reviewers mentioned that these sandals ran small and they needed to order a size larger, I was worried. However, as I had bought at least a dozen pairs of Mephisto shoes in the past ten years and all of them had been size 9, I decided to order a 9 again. Thank goodness I did! They fit perfectly with room to spare. I would have been "floating" in a 10. As all Mephistos I've purchased, they are well-made, sturdy, and comfortable right-out-of the-box. They have good support and cushioning. In addition, they are pretty.

This is a great, comfortable and stylish shoe. I ordered this shoe in 40 (size 10) and 41 (size 11). Normally I would take a 10 (40) but these seem to run short, so I'm keeping the 11 and returning the 10.

I’m always searching for a comfortable AND attractive shoe. This fit the bill. It is very comfortable and nice enough to wear to work. Unfortunately, it wore poorly. The material split at the toe after only a month. Zappos saved the day, agreeing that I could return it and exchange. Since I love the shoe, I’m going to try the same style again. Hopefully, this pair will be much sturdier.

Attractive shoe. Wish it had a bit more cushioning. Have worn for a month now, no problems.

I usually wear an 11, which was too small for me in this style (and in most of the Mephisto sandals); the 12 (EU 42) fits great, and it's a cute style

Great little shoe, attractive without being bulky. I am a medium width and 7-7.5 in most shoes and Mephisto 37's are perfect for me. I like my sandals to "fit properly". By that I mean I like my feet to fit completely within the dimensions of the shoe. I don't want to have any extra shoe showing in the heel or toe areas. Luckily, Mephisto does this perfectly. Because of having medium- narrow feet, I stick to the styles that offer adjustable closures . This Francesca style offers a great arch support that tends to cup the foot, and the sole and heel are sturdy and attractive. Another home run from Mephisto !

This sandal feels great!! But I was very disappointed in the color (red). I was expecting a brighter red, but this was more in line with a brick red. Its going back - hope to exchange for black.

Comfortable, cute, but SQUEAKY!!!! I don't want to make such a grand entrance when I enter a room.

These shoes seem about 30% overpriced to me. Quality of shoe does not seem worth $300.00. They are nice shoes, pretty comfortable, but this style seems to run a bit short. Wish the sole was tan vs white. I thought Mephisto was going to wow me, but the shoe seems overpriced.
