Before I bought these, I had bought a pair of the same shoes only in canvas camo at the same size as the suede ones I ordered here. The canvas camo ones were TRUE to size and fit perfectly, hence me wanting a suede pair. But when the suede pair arrived, I compared them side to side with the canvas ones and they were at least a size or half a sizes smaller all-round, not just in length but width too. I was so disappointed that I had to return them. Not sure if that's how the brand does their suede shoes vs. their canvas but I would HOPE that if a shoe is a size 7 (or whatever size a person wears) that ALL the size 7's would fit at 7's.

Today, I received these sneakers and was greatly disappointed to see rust-colored dirt smudges all over them- the suede part and the soles. Also, they were just throw into the box without proper wrapping. Clearly, someone purchased them and returned them. I definitely don't want these "second hand" shoes at this price! They are being returned. I wish Zappos would inspect the shoes better. Now, I have to waste my time bringing them to UPS and wait multiple days to get credited for a defective purchase! Not happy at all with this purchase.

These shoes are amazingly comfortable and so cute. I am only returning because 1. This pair were clearly used, they had scuff marks on the top suede that someone had attempted to scratch off and 2. I was able to learn that, though I wear anything from an 8-9 depending on the shoe, I am a size 8.5 in Seavees and those were available through the Seavees website. They have arrived and are exactly what I wanted!
