The size is good for 8.5, but this is a shoe with not much give or arch support. I loved the red color and the style, but could tell it was not going to be comfortable enough for me to wear on a regular basis. I didn't return them, but instead gave them to my college daughter at OSU. She loves them, but did say that they hurt her feet if she has to walk long distances on campus. They are perfect for regular activity, just not for lots of walking.

These shoes are so pretty and the colors are vivid. Love that the print has different shades of pink and coral so they will match many outfits. They don't have laces so they just slip on but have to get use to them feeling loose compared to tennis shoes tied up with laces. Will probably add a gel insert to make them feel tighter in the width and give some arch support. Very happy with the style and they are super cute!!

I love this relaxed shoe. I'd suggest ordering 1/2 size smaller from what you normally wear. I did and they are perfect.

The color was really not what I was thinking it would be so I was a little disappointed but I was happy with how they looked on and fit.

They are fairly comfortable. I wouldn’t wear them for a whole day of walking though. Super cute and fit nicely. Go great with any color pant and shirt. Versatile.

They gave me a blister on my little toe the first time I wore them. I was going to donate them but put them in again and they didn’t bother me at all. Now I wear them all the time. Only complaint is the heel is not rigid enough to slip on—have to struggle more than I’d like to put them on.

They are very cool looking shoes, very cute. The red is nice, not super bright. They look great with my jeans and with my shorts. I got several compliments on them both times I wore them. I plan on using them more as a summer shoe tho. Very comfortable although they do not have great arch support. I did need a shoehorn to get them on. I would definitely buy them again and might buy another pair in a different color.

Shoe is cute but I was hoping to be able to wear this without socks but that can’t happen because I can feel the rivets and rubber on the sides through the shoe. Still way more comfortable than the Converse!!! Bought 2 colors and keeping both

I got these in the gray and I love the color as it goes with everything I own. The shoe is comfy and stylish. My only complaint is that the heel is hard to pull up and on.

If you have a higher in-step these are somewhat difficult to get on the first few times, but once they’re worn in, they’re great! I love them.

These didn't seem wide at all. I returned one pair, I think, and gave another to a friend. They are super cute on her and fit her fine but she has narrow feet. I'm bummed that I couldn't wear them but am happy for my friend who looks great in them.

Both pairs were very stiff and the way they fit on my heel, I would have had blisters for sure.

Got two of the same size pair just different colors, one fits great, the other is tight & uncomfortable.

I purchased the black, size 8.5 and the gray, size 9...both wide. I can wear either pair, obviously the 9 is a bit more loose (nothing socks can't cure), however, I did read a review that stated they stretched out after a bit of wear so I'm thinking maybe the gray pair needs to be returned... They are not the most comfortable shoes...I suspect, after a few hours of walking, my feet will be done...but they are so damn cute!

I'm trying to replace an ancient pair of Rocket Dog Jazzin sneakers (the new ones don't fit the same) so I really wanted to love these. Unfortunately it was not a match made in heaven. The pattern is super cute and happy. The fit? not so great. I wear a 6.5-7 so ordered the 7. The toe box was very snug and it took more effort than I was willing to work for to actually get them on. I also felt that the design made your foot look long and skinny (not a look I like). I even tried to put in laces (more wrestling for no success), so they are going back.

They shoes are a bit tight in the front as you are putting your foot in because there is an elastic band that is sewn in place. I really needed a wide but since that was not available, I went with a size larger than my normal size and was able to get my foot in. Not sure how long I can wear them comfortably. I need these for my 50th high school reunion next week.

The fit is weird. It's a little tight in the toes but very lose everywhere else. What concerns me is the plastic like bottom which gives it 0% slip coverage. I wanted so badly to love these shoes but I guess I'll just save them for when we go to the lake in the summer. Can't have a slip and fall in the sand

Very cute design , but material felt ruff and uncomfortable

I have narrow feet and the length was right but the shoes won't stay on - my feet come right out of them. They look and feel great otherwise, but I will have to return them. The Blowfish Vex is still a bit loose but much a better fit with the elastic heel.

Be careful- slippery soles!
