I have purchased Dash 2 twice in the past and loved them. Dash 3 is built differently around the ankles. I would have kept them because I wanted a gray-colored shoe but could not tolerate the bright pink "touches."

Walked for 30 minutes first time wearing, got a blister on right heel that drew blood. Other foot ok. Heel of shoe kept slipping no matter how tightly the laces. This is the second Ryka I have had. I love my first, to the point of being truly worn out.

These had an odor of dampness and mustiness to them, as though they had been stored for a long time in a damp basement or garage. They felt very hard and uncomfortable under the heel.

I have been wearing Ryka for many years - at least 15. The sizing and style are not as reliable as they used to be. I take a wide and even going up half a size I cannot be sure now that it will fit. That is the case with this athletic shoe. There are seams on the outside right below where my little toe is - that is the widest part of my foot. I could instantly feel the pressure and I know a corn/callous would form pretty quickly so back they go.

My first pair of walking shoes were the Rykas Dash 2, and I loved them. However, they only lasted one season before the soles under the ball of my foot were worn down - the durability was disappointing. But because they were so comfortable and fit me so well, I went ahead and ordered the Dash 3. For some reason, the designers decided to put a weird, high collar with two "peaks" at the back of this new version, and it is rough, stiff and uncomfortable. They rub my ankles on both sides of the achilles to the point where I can't continue to wear them unless I want to wear band-aids or moleskin. I have walked many miles in these, hoping they would soften up, to no avail. I may have been better off ordering a half size larger, as others have noted, but given that they are the same brand and same style, it didn't cross my mind that the sizes would change. I am now stuck with an uncomfortable pair of shoes and had to buy another pair of shoes for an upcoming trip where I will be doing a lot of walking. I'm going with Vionics this time.

I returned these shoes. I've had Ryka Dash and Dash 2 and these are not the same. The arch is way too much for my flat feet and they made my toes fall asleep faster than the other versions of the shoes.

The shoes are attractive, and the performance and support is great, but they are short in length! Better buy 1/2 size larger. I should have ordered 8 1/2 instead of my usual size 8. The toe pinches.

I love Ryka shoes and previously they all felt wonderful right away. I love the Ryka Devotion XT and wanted a white version for summer, but they were all out of any Devotions in my size. So I ordered the Dash 3 in white, but these shoes were very stiff. I wore them inside for almost a whole day and was not able to get used to them. They squeezed the top of my foot. Also the quality of the mesh is not as good as the mesh of the Devotion XT. I decided to return them and wait until Zappos gets more Devotions in 6.5 W.

This Ryka Dash 3 runs quite short. I usually take a 10 narrow or medium in an athletic shoe but that size was short in the toe area. So I ordered the 10 1/2 and that was also too short. The 11 finally fit but the outside area of the right shoe hurt the side of my foot. I ordered another pair of 11B and it felt somewhat better but still don't know if I'll keep them. I ordered lots of other Ryka athletic styles hoping they would fit better, but I'm returning them all. I really wanted to like this brand but it doesn't seem to like my foot. Disappointing because so many people raved about Ryka's fitting their foot so well and being super-comfortable.

Please go back to Dash 2 design. Dash 3 is too high on the ankle, especially in the hot weather. Having the lower ankle was the reason the Dash 2 was my go to shoe.

These just don't fit. I always wear the same size in every shoe but these are too small. I've already worn them so I can't return. This is disappointing.

I'm stunned that these are considered walking shoes. There is no cushioning and minimal arch support. I bought a pair of slip on sneakers from Temu that I immediately donated to a goodwill because the sole was so hard. These Ryka's feel exactly the same way. The Temu sneakers were also comprised of mesh fabric with minimal 'leather'. Are you using the same manufacturer as Temu? What happened to quality leather walking shoes? I've purchased dozens of Ryka in the past but it's evident you are cutting corners. Ryka is now on my list of a former quality product I will never buy again.

I bought these sneakers for vacation. Unfortunately I didn't try them on when they came because I've never had any issues with Ryka sneakers before. I put them on for the first time on the way out the door to the airport. It was a big mistake not trying them on when they came. My left foot was twisted and I was nearly walking on my ankle while wearing these sneakers. My right foot was not quite but almost as bad. I was in Mexico for six days and I had only brought these Rykas for walking and a pair of water shoes for the beach. I do want to say that I bought two pairs of the same style, the Ryka Dash 3 in black and blue. It was the black pair (the only ones I brought with me) that is defective. I compared the two when I got home and the black ones do not have any arch support in them and they are completely flat on the inside. The white molded stripe (I don't know the technical term) that is part of the sole is not made correctly. It's not built up on the side but almost flat on the sole which is also why my foot was leaning inward. Walking was slow and uncomfortable. I recommend that you always inspect your shoes when they come and try them on ASAP. I'm not sure if I am able to get a refund since I did wear these for six days but it is a lesson learned.

This is the 3rd time I ordered shoes from you that were made wrong! The one shoe was sewn wrong causing it to be narrower than the other. Do you not have quality control there to check the shoes before they're shipped out?! I really like Ryka shoes but always have to check them when they arrive to make sure they are sewn right.

Something was odd about the fit of the right-foot arch bed. It bulges out interiorly as if the right foot arch has a defect in the shoe design. It was only in the right shoe.

I have been a fan of the Ryka brand for 20+ years. Sadly this is no longer true. The last two pairs of walking shoes I bought have hurt my feel so badly I had to stop walking for five days to heal from the most severe blisters I've ever had. Ultimately I returned this pair because no amount of money is worth this pain. I don't know what has changed in the manufacturing of these sneakers, but they sadly no longer fit me correctly or feel comfortable. Good shoes require no break in period, they should fit you straight out of the box.
