These sandals are amazing. Perfect fit - I ordered a 10 as suggested when I usually wear a 9 1/2 in Sandals. I got them to travel to europe with to walk the cities. I live in LA - but walk alot . LOVE THEM.

These shoes represent a bold moment in self-acceptance: my feet are not what they used to be at age 45, it’s ok to be comfortable, and sometimes risks pay off! These shoes were purchased 4 days before a trip to England with lots of walking. I read lots of other reviews and even bought a used pair on Poshmark first - only to discover that I did not need to size up but size down (I’m a 9.5) (those used ones went to my mom). So I committed to a 9 in Nude based in large part by a review by another buyer on Zappos in a similar stage of life. Yes, I felt the sole was not the most stylish but FUNCTION OVER FORM when it comes to feet! These shoes were immediately comfortable with no hot spots. I had anticipated that the arch support would be more pronounced than it is, but it turns out that is ok. I have worn these every day without a single blister (unheard of for me), and my Achilles tendinitis has not flared once. In fact, my feet ache when I walk barefoot around the house and feel relieved when I put these on. I wish they came in red! As I learned from my Dansko Reece purchase, even if my toe felt slightly too close to the edge of the top of the shoe, the leather will stretch over time. Thank you Taos!

I simply love these shoes. Supportive, comfortable, attractive, and can be worn with all sorts of outfits. My only wish is that the footbed was black so they’d look a little dressier - the natural color makes them a bit more casual. I still wear them with skirts and summer dresses and they look cute, but I think they’d look better and dressier if the footbed was black. 10/10 would recommend nonetheless!

Beautiful basic nearly flat sandals in gunmetal/pewter leather. So comfy, adjustable everywhere. I wore them with a dress to a wedding on the first day, and they were fine without any breaking in. I highly recommend these to anyone who needs comfort and hopes for a little style too.

I've never ordered Taos before but I'm really happy with these. Great color (pewter), GREAT STYLE; will go with so many summer styles! Only complaint is that they don't have a bit more heel height... I know that's not really the Taos vibe, but that's the only thing that I would change to make them perfect.

comfortable and cute

When I first tried them on they felt comfortable. However, after walking around my apartment my hammertoe was not too happy. The strap was rubbing against it. Even after adjusting the strap it did not help. So I am returning these sandals. They are attractive and well-made. Other people should not have my problem.

Unfortunately this shoe was to small I am an 8 which is what I ordered , will try 9. The straps which are adjustable helps since I have a narrow foot.

I ordered 12 pairs of sandals and nothing compares to Taos. I ordered 6 different pairs of Birkenstocks because they are so popular and not one worked. I know they need breaking in time but Taos feels great right out of the box. Taos Trophy moves with your feet, like you aren't even wearing anything on your feet. They are lightweight yet sturdy and well made so easy to pack. The leather is soft (got black). The straps are adjustable so no worries with bunions and I have one large one. The footbed is comfortable and flexes, not stiff. The leather is soft so it doesn't rub anywhere and is cushioned by your heel for added comfort. I had a pair of Taos before that I really loved but they faded over time. There is nothing negative about these sandals. They are perfect. Size 38 fits my 7 1/2 foot well. I also just purchased a pair of Mephisto Helen's which are pretty but I think Taos are more comfy. Time will tell but for now I highly recommend Taos Trophy.

LOVE THESE SANDALS! They are a little more than I would normally spend on sandals, but they looked good and had really good reviews. They are fantastic! I normally wear 7.5-8, the 8 fit great. The velcro around the ankle makes them easy to take on and off without stretching them out, but the velcro around the toes makes them amazing. I normally have issues with sandals being loose around the toes, no issues with these. Highly recommend.

This is my second pair of Taos sandals and as everyone else has said these are incredibly comfortable right out of the box. I tried Birkenstocks (3 styles) and I just don't understand why they are popular..so uncomfortable). I am a 7 1/2 and got the 38. Perfect fit and I love how you can adjust the straps. No problem around my bunions. Ordered the black. No regrets.

Surprisingly comfortable for a lightweight candle. Enough support for casual walking, but attractive and not clunky.

My favorite new sandals! I was a bit skeptical about these at first, only because I almost always go for 8.5w in sandals (like, pretty consistent with Clark's, for example) – the closest was a 9m in the Taos, but since a couple of reviews said go up a half size, I went ahead and ordered the 9m. And, wow, they fit so well and are so extremely comfortable. Also completely adjustable. I've gone on a few walks with them so far, and hoping they'll be suitable for trekking around Rome. Or Lisbon. Or somewhere, one of these days. Bonus: they're strappy and cute and not clunky. Yay.

Lovely sandal. Especially good for those of us with feet that differ a bit in width. All straps are adjustable, so I can leave a strap on the foot with a bunion a little bit looser than the other. Highly recommend this great shoe.

Best sandals ever! These are so comfy, so cushioned, so attractive on the foot. They are the ones o reach for. I like them so much I want another pair.

Perfect. Comfortable all day. Don’t even realize I’m wearing them. Very cute and petite. No rubbing or irritations anywhere. Feel the way any footwear should. Very pretty blue color- not a bright blue - sort of blue-gray- earthy- exactly what I wanted, exactly as pictured.
