I ordered these in the light sand color and they are BEAUTIFUL. unfortunately, the ankle strap was just too small. The height of the heel is great and the footbed is nicely padded.

These are among my new favorite shoes. I bought them to wear to a wedding last weekend. I had them on from 2:30pm until 1:00am (mostly standing plus some dancing during that time), and my feet didn't hurt! They are very cute and trendy with the neutral suede minimalist straps and the block heel. I got them in the "sand suede" color. They go with everything!

Great versatile shoe!

For me, Clarks doesn't disappoint. This is a nice height and comfortable heel. The suede is soft and the inside leather is also very nice. I'm undecided yet on the color. (sand) I like the consistency of quality that you can expect from Clarks, and ordering from Zappos has to be the best way to shoe shop!

These are pretty comfortable and I dont wear heels, the ankle strap can be a bit confining in certain positions but isn't bad just walking. I'm only trying them on and have not worn them out. So far the Franco Sarto style in Camel is more comfortable, I have them on side by side.

very pretty shoe, comfortable, nice color--but the strap at toes is so wide--gaping space between side of foot and strap--i don't usually have this problem--had to return them.

Ordered these in my usual 11 but they were a bit too long. It's really too bad because they are so on trend and looked like they would have been comfortable. Going back.

Recently, I began working at a job where the expectations for dress are a little higher than they were at previous offices. My chunky-funky (Kork-ease mostly) sandals don't seem right with the day dresses and suits I need to wear, so I was looking for a dressier sandal with a heel that is still comfortable. I went to the Clarks store, but didn't find the right thing. These sandals fit the bill. They are not as comfortable as the wide platforms I'm used to, but they are more comfortable and stable than most sandals in the dressy category. There is a fair amount of padding at the pressure points and the bands do not cut. My job also requires some walking between buildings on a campus, and I'm able to do that without pain. The one problem I see is that even though I have pretty small ankles, I have to wear the buckle on the second-to- last hole. That's unusual. I'm someone who sometimes has to punch an extra hole to make the strap narrower. On this shoe, wearing on the last or second-to-last hole means the end that hangs off is very short. It's a little strange, but not a deal-breaker for me. I'd imagine, though, that for someone with thicker ankles, this issue would render these unwearable. Having purchased these, on sale, in black and sand, I'm happy, however. Another nice pair of Clarks!

Love, love, love the look. There's some chafing along the toe strap; hopefully that will stop once they're fully broken in.

These shoes are lovely and comfortable. Unfortunately, the ankle straps are too short. I don't have large ankles and have never had this issue before.

These shoes are so cute and the heel is such a great height and shape ... but the ankle strap is waaay to tight. I have small ankles and despite the other reviews, I tried two sizes ... but it's just too uncomfortable. They both had to go back, boo.

Ankle strap too small. Shoe is very narrow. Length fit great and I have narrow feet so I was okay but the angle strap is small and depending on when I tried to wear the shoes out it would be either too tight or just wouldn't fit at all. So I have to return.

As other reviewers have said, this is a very attractive shoe. It had the heel height and style I was looking for. Unfortunately, the relatively thick ankle strap was just too uncomfortable and confining for me...I knew it would drive me crazy as soon as I walked more than a few steps. If you have very slender ankles, this may not be an issue for you, though.

Super cute but the ankle strap was so uncomfortable, I could not even bear to buckle it- and the rest of the shoe seemed to fit.

I love this style shoe and wanted to keep them. All the reviews I read were true about the strap. I have a normal ankle size and the strap was way too stiff and tight. There isn’t any elastic in the strap which makes it uncomfortable to even walk in. I ordered these for a wedding which would have made for a horribly uncomfortable night if I would have kept these shoes.

I agree with the other reviews; the ankle straps are ridiculous. Too tight. They’re designed for Barbie ankles.

For years I have worn a size 5.5 when purchasing Clarks shoes. These shoes were way to big for me. No arch support because they were to big I was very surprised.

The ankle strap is WAY too small!! I am not overweight and the strap was a good 2 inches from the buckle. I have proportionate ankle circumference to height to weight ratio.. they are average sized ankles for my bone structure, but I suspect these shoes get larger in length as you go up in size (I wear a size 11 and am tall), but make no adjustments to the ankle strap length as sizes go up. If you are a size 5 and have very small bones, these shoes will be great. Otherwise, find one of the 100's of shoes that look just like this with an adjustable or at least proportionately sized strap.

Beware! The shade of black on the heel was significantly different than the shade of black on the rest of the shoe, much lighter in tone.

My feet were black all day! I wore them to work and had to wash my feet 4 times. The ankle strap is also way too tight. I don't have ankles or anything. Overall I bought these because Clark's are supposed to be comfortable. I should've purchased the Franco Sarta version...ugh

The foot bed fit fine, but like many others have said: the ankle strap is WAY TOO SHORT. It is totally unproportional to the shoe size. Returned.

These shoes are ridiculous - I don't know whose ankle they're designed for but it's not any woman I've ever met. I have pretty skinny ankles and I couldn't even come close to getting the ankle strap done up; the end of the strap was a good inch short of the buckle. Overall they seemed small; I ordered up a half size just to be safe and it was really tight around my toes. Shoes are cute but totally unwearable.

Love these sandals! Couple of problems, I have a very narrow foot and they were lose even with a 5 1/2 and the ankle strap was too tight. I'm a very petite person, so I'm not sure why the strap was so tight. It's a shame I had to return these, they were so cute!
