I like the shorts, but it's was a little tight in mid section when you move around

I have purchased every color of the Beck short except for the Wine Tasting color. The shorts I purchased earlier seems to be of better quality than the last couple of shorts purchased. Not sure why. Sizing is fine. The material is where I have an issue. Some picking and color looks faded. My wife actually donated a couple of the shorts that she refused to let me were. I may try the Starnes short if the reviews are mostly positive.

Got two pairs of these shorts ,both had the colors fade below the belt line . Not happy at all !

Snug in the front and groin area. I am 6'2 with an average build. The Sand Harbor are by far the most comfortable.

Have owned several pairs previously but now the fit is much tighter than they appear online. Bought 1 size up and were still so tight I couldn't wear them

I was hopeful, but these short did not fit me that well. I'm a 38 in most shorts but for some reason, these were just way too tight.

I have now bought two pairs of these shorts and had to return both. They are too tight around the crotch and thighs. The length was good but I wish they were a tad looser.

First off, I really like the brand and think the quality is second to none. My opinion on their Shorts line is strictly design related. For me I wish they offered a looser more regular fit option. The Beck, I believe, is their short with the longest inseam/outseam and it is still pretty short and tight. The photo of the model doesn't accurately show how high the shorts are above the knee. Which btw is not a bad thing. For me personally, I just wish there was maybe a polyester/spandex option with a longer inseam/outseam and fits a touch more loosely and has some stretch to it. NOT hanging at or down below the knee though. The waist size fit true to size, so i'd recommend sticking to what your standard size is if you feel these shorts are the ones for you. Love the TM brand and i'll be on the lookout for this option possibly becoming available.

I have 4 pair of these shorts I bought a few years back...I will echo all the recent negative reviews. The inseam is too high, they are super snug in the crotch, butt, and thighs...also the new material blend is not as good as the old version...you guys ruined what were great shorts.

Great material, color, but inseam is too high. Does not leave much room in the crotch.

I like the style but the cut of the short is too narrow in the hips . It makes for an odd fitting short. I usually wear a 34 but had to size up to 36 to get a comfortable fit butter waist is slightly loose. Also, the inseam is not quite 10" as described.

Loved the look and feel but the size was way too small. I am a 34 in Nike, Under Armour, Lululemon however the Becks fit like a shrunken 32

I have several shorts, pants and shirts from TM. I'm very frustrated with the inconsistency in their sizing. I wear a 36 short and pant, but I need the 38 in the Beck short because they are too tight in my derrire and front. However, TM pants fit me fine in a 36 waist. In addition, some of their golf shirts I wear size L but other models I need an XL.

Fit is ridiculous. Super tight in the wrong places. My girlfriend laughed me out of them!

Blue Nights color fades badly in the sun. This is the second time I have purchased the Beck Short in Blue Nights Color. My first pair faded badly to an almost brown color and I thought it was my fault due to clothes dryer temp. I purchased another blue nights beck short in November 2023 and have been careful to always wash inside out and dry at low temps. The shorts have again faded to a brownish color. I use them primarily for playing golf and going out and I live in Florida, so they get decent sun exposure. I own 6 colors of these shorts in total (black, blue nights, balsam green, khaki, light blue, light grey) and none of the other colors have issues with fading. Although I love the Beck Short I cannot recommend the Blue Nights. I'm tired of having to repurchase every year due to manufacturing and fabric flaws and will be looking elsewhere for new golf shorts.

I decided to give TM a try this season. Purchased golf polos and 3 pairs of shorts. After wearing the shorts only twice, two of them began having pulls in a number of spots with strings hanging. Shouldn't happen at this price point. Totally overrated in my opinion

Unfortunately, had to return. I own 2 other pairs that fit fine, but these were extremely snug. 6 3, 205

The fit of the beck short has a number of issues for a 5' 8" 170 lb man. First, the shorts are way too tight all around. Second, the length is too short for any occasion. Third, the back pockets are too deep (the top of my wallet is below my butt). If I did not already wash them I would be sending them back. I have several other TM shorts that are perfect, but the Beck model is not up their standard.

I have a pair from several years ago that I love. I decided to get a few more colors this year, and the size is much shorter in length (despite 20 1/2) and tighter in the crotch than in older pairs. Way too tight and uncomfortable, especially after washing. Still like the material, but I wish they were made the way they used to be, which was perfect. I'm 6'4" and the size 36 felt like trim fit gym shorts.

Long time TM supported but the Beck shorts are a solid miss. I normally wear a 35" waist and not even a 36" will fit me. They have shorted and much tighter in the crotch area.

I have / Had 5 pair of these from last year. Love them! This year I bought 2 more colors. The inseam is, if I was to guess 2" shorter. Work out shorts now.

I have several pair and love them. I ordered an additional pair and they are entirely too tight in the crotch. They ruined a perfect short

Shorts are too long like most Travis Matthew Shorts - Only found one pair that has a shorter Inseam of 9". The trend is shorter shorts these are far too long for most people
