I love this hat. Fits perfect!!! First time buying a trucker style hat and it fits great. I use it everytime i go out. I live in Hawaii so it gets humid out here, so the trucker style is perfect!

Works well for running or working out: anything when you sweat. Absorbs well, cleans well in the wash.

I use this hat on long trail runs. I run in the Texas hill country where it's hot. This hat pulls the sweat from my had somehow and I never have to whipe it away from my eyes while wearing it??? I am a sweater too so this is amazing! My head stays cool and the hat drys really fast. It returns to its original shape too regardless of how you pack it. Just crushed it in my luggage on a trip to run trails in Colorado and it opened back up and looks like it did the day I Got it!

The open mesh is as cool as the style - great for looking good while logging big trail miles. The reflective touches are nice too for road crossings in overnight races.

I normally don't like wearing hats when I run but this hat is the expection. The bill is longer than normal for great sun protection, the front colored portion soaks up forehead perspiration, and the back mesh makes it breathable & cool. It's perfect for my rigorous summer running schedule.

Awesome hat from trail to tavern, it looks good, breathes good and keeps the sun out of the eyes. Also I prefer a running hat that has a high profile and sits off the head a bit, this is one of those hats. This has quickly become my go to hat.

It's lightweight, absorbs sweat, and comfy to boot. Breathable enough, but would give 5 stars if it allowed a bit more air to the forehead.

the looks/quality are great, the bead along which the front meets the bill forms a "cord" along the inside forehead which results in a snug fit but not very comfortable. Hopefully it flattens over time, otherwise a gread hat, really like the slightly extended bill.

The quality of the hat is great and meets my expectation of North Face.

This hat isn't like my other truckers hats, which are more structured at the forehead. The hat is very light weight and soft. Though it took me a bit to like the unstructured front, I do think it will be my main to go for a run.

I read the Outside mag review and decided to give the hat a try for everyday wear and trail use. It's an excellent hat. The only reason for 4 stars is that it fits a little funny - it's not a typical trucker hat, so it doesn't hold shape the way they do, and it's bigger than my usual running hats, so the fit is different. Not necessarily bad, and I'm not wearing it to be fashionable. The material is perfect too.

The hat works great! I am currently living in the Grand Teton mountains hiking everyday. So it comes in handy a lot and I am always wearing it. Also it is so comfortable you forget its even on and you can get it wet and it feels nice and cool!

I wanted this to be my next go-to all things outdoors hat, but the fit just wasn't there. It actually was a bit rigid, just not comfortable for my smallish head (6 7/8"). TNF's Breakaway hat, on the other hand, is amazing and just fits perfectly. Maybe they need to size this hat rather than the one-size-fits-some concept.

Bad stitching top inside of hat feels like fiberglass digging into the top of your head.
