Extremely comfortable, for an inexpensive, everyday sandal

These fit just fine from the first time I put them all. I like the very soft leather and the style very much.

This is the 2nd pair of these shoes I’ve purchased as they are perhaps my favorite shoes of all time. Cushiony to walk on with good arch support. I get compliments on them all the time. I wear a size 10 typically, medium width, and these fit well.

My feet are between a narrow and a medium so when these sandals arrived I put a "tongue pad" underneath the top and now they fit perfectly. I love the style and I have been hearing that they are really good for hiding bunions. I find them comfortable and the gold color is really nice.

So far so good!! I read many reviews about this sandal and was excited to try. I have wide feet and a bunion on one foot, so was looking forward to seeing how they fit. I put them on and was immediately impressed!! The foot with the bunion has a bit if a scratchy area touching my big toe. I rubbed the leather and it went away. I have worn them now a couple of times and they are very soft and comfy. I probably will buy another color!

After knee replacement, my arches collapsed and about the only shoes with enough support for me now are Finn Comforts. However, I believe these will be ok for slipping on around the house. The arch support is decent, and the wide top feels supportive on my instep. Plus, they look trendy and the colors are very good.

I didn't have too much hope that these would fit as I have a slightly wider foot (C) and high instep (but flat arches). However, they fit great and are very comfortable. I wear an 8.5 and ordered these in 8 and 9. The 9 are definitely the right size for me. In fact, they fit perfectly. I think if I wore a 9 they would be too short. I got black, but I may keep my eye out for black printed leather on sale - they seem a little dressier and it would be nice to have another pair for next year. Taos are my new favorite brand.

I know you are not supposed to do this but I took these shoes to Europe without really breaking them in. This is Day 4 and they are the most comfortable shoes ever! I haven’t even worn my tried and true traveling shoes! I definitely recommend these!

These shoes are comfortable but also stylish—they can dress up or down. They have nice grippy tread as well. I’m expecting comfort on my vacation wanderings...

Love the fit of these. The cutest “Birkenstock” type sandal I have ever seen. Should I buy a second pair now for when I wear these out? That’s the only question

Out of the box these are a bit stiff, but loosen up and feel better as you wear them more. I have a narrow foot and these fit me perfectly with little to no gap in the top fitting against my foot. The foot bed is slightly cushioned and has a slight arch support.

These shoes would have been perfect except they were a little short and the next size would have been too large. I have purchased a similar style from Zappos that I will keep. Love doing business with Zappos!

these are cute. a little narrow. hoping they will stretch. the insole is very comfortable.

The shoe is beautiful however I have bunions and the toe insert tends to pull my foot to the right side of the sandal.

I am delighted to have discovered this brand! These sandals are very comfortable and I plan on wearing them with a tea-length dress for the evening dinner before our son's casual wedding in early September and hopefully as a staple for those days I do venture out of the home. I struggle to find shoes (and sneakers) that I can balance in, that are supportive and cushioning enough and are kind to my joints. I have intermittent leg spasticities, an abnormal gait and persistent patella femoral syndrome (secondary to Lupus, an auto-immune disease) so the search for shoes beyond crocs remains a full time endeavor in between periods of recovery. I note that people with bunions have found these shoes comfortable (that is how I did my Zappos search) and it makes complete sense to me that this sandal would be kind to many aching feet. The leather is soft and forgiving. The soul of the shoe does not feel like a cloud and I know I will not be able to wear them if my bursa are inflamed which is why I gave a total 4 stars for the overall impression. There is almost a massaging feel to the foot bed (perhaps this is my own sensory issues) and the souls are covered in a very welcoming and cooling fabric (nubuck perhaps). I do wish the wedged heel design had even more of an aspect for that would just work better with posture and my own walking difficulties. I am utterly grateful to have discovered these sandals. I would have kept the cocoa metallic color which is gorgeous but opted for the pewter for it worked better with a teal colored dress and my pale skin coloring. I normally wear a 7.5 and the 8 fits wonderfully.

the leather is beautifully soft and the footbed is perfect. I just found the cord that goes between the toes felt as if it was cutting into me so I would not be able to walk in them. Others may not have this problem as I do have very sensitive feet.

The color is a bit odd. Kinda gray-blue-mettalica.

The top of the sandal was very loose over my foot, so the fit was sloppy and I felt like I was stepping off crooked, like I would step off the foot bed or loose the sandal completely.

I really wish these would have fit but were too narrow. Sadly, I have to return them.

I was so hopeful that this shoe would work for me, unfortunately, I will be returning them. I have 2 pairs of Taos Plim tennis shoe and not only do they look great but they feel great too. I've had 3 foot surgeries in the last year and a half which makes shoe shopping difficult. If you are needing any type of arch support these are NOT the shoes for you. After wearing them around the house my feet began to ache. While I highly recommend Taos tennis shoes, the Taos Gift 2 is a huge disappointment.

I bought the blue pearl color. I think of color and design of this shoe are beautiful. The shoes for me are true to size and comfortable. Unfortunately, the surface of the leather is very delicate and with normal wear my new shoes were scuffed the very first day. I scoured the internet to find some shoe polish that would work on my shoes. Nothing really comparable. I am an artist and will try to modify the dark silver polish I purchased to match the leather color. I just wish the surface of the leather wasn't so prone to damage under normal use.

I had to return these beautiful sandals because of the width-they were just a tad to narrow near my pinkie toes...need my toes to stay on the whole footbed. Please make in 1/2 sized and wide widths!!!!

The first few times wearing these sandals were very comfortable, then they began to stretch and the sole hardened. I’m a small person with a narrow foot and there was no reason for these shoes to stretch so much. It’s sad because these are beautiful shoes, pricey and I’m sure not the only person this is happening to. So it’s important to write reviews everyone! Sure would save a lot of time and money shopping!

I can tell I would love these sandals if the front didn't cut sharply across the middle of my big toe when I step. So I have to return them. They are just too painful on both mid-big toes.
