I have a higher instep therefore I could not get my foot slid all the way into this shoe. I have many other Taos shoes/sandals and love them!

I love the style of these sandals, but they were too loose. Without a way to adjust them, my feet would slide out.

Footbed size was true to size. My issue was that I have a high arch and while not officially narrow, I don't have a "thick" foot. Since there was no way to adjust the fit, the sandals flopped around a bit on my foot. I didn't want to have to hang onto them with my toes. Also, I would have liked more navy and less pearl to the color of the shoe. I've never worn Taos before but they seem like they would be comfortable to wear all day.

These felt like heaven the first time I tried these on, soooo comfortable! I love that they hide my bunions, so I immediately ordered two more pair. My only problem is that the leather is more fragile than I realized and before long, I had scuffed the area over my bunions. I saved one pair for good and the other two pair are now everyday garden sandals. But I would buy them again if one of the options was a sturdier leather that could be polished.

I love everything about this sandal -- bought in size 9, bronze -- except that it is just a touch too small. I'm a pretty solid size 9; Merrell brand is one of my reliable go-tos for sandals--and was disappointed that my heels stuck out slightly over the back of the shoes. Also disappointing that they don't come in half sizes. I ordered the size 10 and hope it won't be too big. I can't justify spending more than $100 on a sandal that doesn't fit well. Otherwise I love the look and comfort.

This is a follow up to my earlier post. I recently purchased these sandals in 11M, width was fine but length felt half size smaller. Since 11.5M is NOT offered, I exchanged them for 12M and as I expected these were too big--half size larger and a bit wider. My foot didn't feel secure and the leather toe post rubbed due to poor fit. Sadly they go back. Thank you Zappos for your outstanding return policy!

Cute sandal, nice leather. I should have ordered a 10 for my 9 foot but my foot was too narrow to keep the shoe from flopping around due to the leather over the top of the foot being too loose, story of my life. I sent them back.

I really wanted to like this sandal. I love the Taos Star shoe....I have several pairs. However, it was too wide for my wide foot. A size under would have left my toes and heels over the edge. I will have to return these.

The shoes were very attractive but were not attractive on my feet. I did not think they were comfortable and felt no arch support. I have 6 pairs of Taos sandals and they are all extremely comfortable. This style just was not for me.

These would be great if only they weren't so heavy!! There's no way that my feet would be happy in these for any length of time carrying that weight especially if I were traveling or walking a lot. I sure wish that Zappos would have a way of searching on sandals for the lightest weight ones.

I absolutely LOVED the looks of these sandals and wanted so badly for them to fit. Some of the reviews said they ran narrow so I ordered a size 10 and a size 11. Unfortunately, they were too wide! I have a narrow foot and I'm so difficult to fit. Thankfully, Zappos understands and let me return with no penalty

Loved these sandals, but they did not accommodate my high instep. I couldn't even slide them all the way on. Sadly, I'm returning them.

I really wanted to have this sandal. The color and style were perfect for my needs. But, the fact that they don't have half sizes is a problem. I ordered both the size 9 and the size 10 because I am usually a 9.5. The 9 was just too short to feel comfortable because the footbed has a rim around it (which I like - it just rubbed on my heel and I knew it would be uncomfortable after walking for a couple of hours). The 10 was just too loose to be a good walking shoe. I disagree with many of the other reviewers who say this is a narrow shoe - I found it to be very wide for me.

You know, I loved these shoes and tried so hard to make them work, but they're just not for me.

Size was perfect, loved the shoe except the toe bar in the sole that hit my foot at the wrong place. It made walking uncomfortable. So sad to have to return.

I am disappointed that these sandals are not going to work for me. I had been eying them for about six months and finally ordered them. I love the style and the leather is soft and of good quality. The foot bed is meh- I was expecting an experience similar to the Taos Star- and the sandal is tight on my average width foot. I can't justify the price for sandals I don't truly love, so sadly they are going back.

I wear lots of flip flops, but these made my toes bleed. I bought them for the arch support, but hope my toes stop bleeding when I wear them. Doesn’t look that good.

I ordered a 9.5 - 10 (41) too small for my almost size 10 foot. It was also tight across the top. I have another pair of these in 41 and they fit fantastic. frustrating

Do you have the kind of feet where when you buy sandals you have to punch extra holes in the straps to buckle them snugly enough? If so, don't bother with these. I really like the way they look, and wanted to try them on, but obviously, they don't adjust for foot volume, so my foot was like a train in a tunnel, at no risk of touching the tunnel walls. And they are a little short, which means you do need to size up by a half to have them be long enough, which of course increases the shoe volume.

I ordered these sandals on a recommendation of two friends. Unfortunately, my foot is too wide and my arch is too high. I had to return them.

I love the look, feel, and the bronze color of this shoe. Unfortunately, I had to return them because they were not wide enough for my foot. If you have a wide foot with a very high arch, order a size up.

I love the look of these sandals but alas...they did not work out for me. My foot is pretty much a 9 1/2 and a little on the narrow side.These sandals only come in whole sizes. I took the chance and ordered the 10 and hoped that the length would be Ok and that the fact that many reviewers said they run narrow might work out for me. My foot was swimming in them. I have a bunion and these sandals would have been great in hiding that ... but my sandal search continues!
