Loved them, but were too wide/roomy for my feet

This is a lovely shoe. I tried the size 10 and exchanged for an 11. One was too big and the other too small. A half size would probably have worked. It does run wide which I need. I just couldn’t get the length right.

Soft foot bed. Had to reorder and get a full size larger than my usual size.

I really liked these sandals, but I needed navy and the navy pearl color is not navy at all. It is more of a gray/pewter color. So bummed.

I'm thinking I may return these. Pros: Leather upper and lining is buttery soft, and the design is great because it covers a big scar on my foot. I love the upper, even if it is a little tight towards the toes. Cons: Underneath the nice microfiber, the footbed is a hard plastic that doesn't flex like other comfort shoes you might be familiar with. It's a stiff and relatively hard feel. There's no cushioning or bounce at all, but the very mild heel cup and arch support are ok.

Fantastic fit and comfort. I simply don’t care for the color and will return them for another color. I love Taos footwear!!!

Too big, too wide

The footbed is so hard and unyielding that I'm not sure I'll be able to continue wearing these. They're cute, but sure are hard to break in.

Very comfortable but could not get the right fit. I usually wear a 9.5 and I tried a 10 and a 9. Sadly, the 10 was too big and the 9 just a bit too small. As always, Zappos customer service is the BEST and my returns were handled extremely fast.

I had been wanting these sandals for the past 2 summers. I got them this year and sadly had to return them. The footbed was exactly what I expected but the leather over the top of my foot was too loose. It was not a snug fit and my foot kept slipping out of the sandal. Too much space between my foot and the upper leather covering. I was so disappointed!

I have a bunion and the fit was too tight. I decided to go up a size to see if that helped. The shoe leather didn’t seem as giving or as stretchy as I thought. They do not come in wide width.

The sandals were everything I would expect from Taos. The fit was comfortable and the shoe is well made. Unfortunately, I wasn't thrilled with how they looked on my foot. I am returning but I'm comfortable knowing I will find another Taos style that will work out in the future.

The piece between the toes was just too uncomfortable.

I followed reviewer advice and sized up half a size, and these fit perfectly. I don't like backless sandals generally because I don't like the sensation that a show can slip easily off my foot, but the fact that the soft leather clings to your skin makes these feel like they will not come off until you want them to come off. They are a great shoe to wear to get a pedicure because you can slip them on without damaging the paint job, and they feel comfortable enough for a long day of walking, though I have not tested them fully yet.

This is an excellent shoe. It is stylish, comfortable and living in a warm dry climate I can wear them almost year around. I hope they do not quit making them. Zappos is a company that I have been with for many years and they are always impeccable in there dealings.

I already own 3 pairs of these sandals in various colors. I was looking to replace my navy pair but unfortunately this pair just didn’t make the grade. The cut of the toe leather was just a little longer so I felt the leather rubbing on my big toe. Afraid of blisters. That said, it is still a comfortable shoe and can be worn dressed up or down.

Very cute shoe, but fit was very sloppy on my foot.

I only rated the size in a 4 cause I wear a 10 and the sandle fit exact. If they had of came in a 10 1/2 I love of loved it more. But I would definitely order again in a different color regardless.

This was my second pair of Taos in this style. I do not like the color this time. Thought it was a natural leather color but it is gold-sparkled? Returned this pair.

I like the comfort and the style. They are flattering on the foot. My only issue is they do feel hot, so probably not the best for hot summer days.

I wear an 8 or 8 1/2. My foot came right to the end of the heel. I returned them for a size 9. Length is great. These are beautiful sandals and the leather is very soft.

I normally wear a 9.5 and the 10 fit perfectly! My only problem was my big toe was too fat for the space! My big toe is a bit on the larger size but I wear other thong style shoes without a problem. Sadly, these have to go back...

Felt like they would run small so I bought a size larger. Great call! They fit good. Love the color Navy Pearl. Felt comfortable for the several hours that I wore them the first time.

Great looking, comfortable, wish it were a little more snug on my foot.
