The shoe looks very nice, but it is extremely heavy. It has excellent support all around the foot. However, because of its weight, I am returning.

Wanted these to work, as love the styling. Unfortunately, there is very little padding around the collar. Right after I tried them on, the collar was cutting into my already-damaged peroneal nerve. The toe box is relatively wide, but unpadded, and my toes were already painfully rubbing against the sides.

Returning These feel like they would be comfortable, but when I walked across my kitchen floor (linoleum) they slipped. The soles are plastic.

I have no idea how they fit as the base of the tongue below the laces sits so far back that I couldn't even get my foot into the shoe.

I purchased a half size smaller than usual and these fit fantastic (with the laces relaced in a way to pull the heel tighter). These seem like they would be fantastic for the 3 problems I have in my feet (arthritis in a joint with little cartilage left), tibial tendon disfunction, and plantar fasciitis) which cause me to walk funny causing other pains... I returning them for “a fatal flaw”—the plastic soles are ridiculously slippery. I tried them on in my living room with hardwood floors and immediately slipped. I’ve tried them on 3 times over the last few days hoping it was a fluke and the problem somehow disappeared. I googled ways to make soles less slippery but none seem to be the answer. The sole is not smooth. There are heavy grooves in the plastic but it’s just the material it seems. I don’t see a way to fix these so they will have to go back. I am stunned that a company who thought of everything else to make the perfect shoes put these soles on the shoes! I even considered taking the new shoes to be resoled but I’m worried it would create other problems. Please, please release these shoes with a better sole! (Keep the suede option too—love the black suede—much less medical looking!)
