After doing a lot of research on hiking boots I decided to gjve these a try. I really like my variety of comfortable slip ons so I thought these boots would offer the same roomy and cushy comfort...I was wrong. They were too snug in the toe area, even with extra wide size. They were not a cushy as my other hikers. Number 1 issue...the top speed lace eye snapped off the 4th time I wore them while just walking through my woods. They have since been returned for a refund.

I'm a tow truck driver sole grip is good only problem is metal tabs breath for laces

I use these boots for working out side, got extra wide width for comfort but does not feel like they are the extra wide.

Too tight.

Yard work, I live in the country lots of sand good footing, kind of stiff

I purchased these with light yard work in mind. They provide good ankle support and are waterproof as advertised. My only complaint, and it's rather large, is the eyelets have very sharp edges! The eyelets destroyed the laces that came with the shoe/boot after about 3 weeks. I have since replaced them and the new laces are showing signs of being cut by the eyelets. Poor design unfortunately. Great shoe/boot, just be aware that you will most likely need to replace the laces more then you are used to. As comfy as they are, I most likely won't be purchasing these again because I don't want to replace laces every couple of weeks.

Use when mowing wet properties after walking for a while right above ankles really start to hurt to the point that you can't tie top of boot

i wear at work very comfortable, looks grate. sole of shoes are holding up grate. butt the shoes lace hooks broke way to soon, cant find hooks to replace them.

Wear for work, comfortable, the only negative is they are not as waterproof as advertised

eyelet broke off in less then three months of use.

I admit I have a large narrow foot. Thought the size 15 in a medium width would get by with some heavy hiking socks to take up the space. Even with the socks, this shoe/boot was extremely wide. My foot was slipping side to side even after an extended period of walking on the house carpet. Love the appearance of the shoe/boot though. another point is the shoe lace eyelets at the bottom of the shoe / boot. Wish shoe manufacturers would go back to the simple D ring type of eyelet. You have to tighten each set of eyelets on this boot and work your way up the entire boot each time, With the provided laces, they bind in each eyelet and will not slide. I can see some of the other reviews about these eyelets breaking with the force needed to tie and tighten the laces. I'm so used to my laces cinching up in the lower 3 or 4 pairs of eyelets when I pull on the laces. Returning the boots.

Spent years camping, hiking. Sole shank gives good foot support. Open lace hook placement does not provide good ankle support.

I purchased these boots because they were advertised as being "relaxed fit" but upon trying on they are actually a little too narrow. I'm hoping they will expand somewhat over time. Also the type of laces supplied are slippery and have a tendency to untie themselves. I have replaced the laces with others (flat instead of tubular) hoping this will correct the problem. Other than that - nice looking boots and delivery was prompt.

To hike only. I didn't get to try them on before I bought them, unfortunately they hurt my feet.

Used for construction work

Narrow fit on toe of shoe. Uncomfortable

Bought these for work, they are really comfortable and light and they don't let in water (not tried submerging full foot). The only fault is that in 3 weeks of use I have used 3 sets of laces the eyelets 3 down from the top keep cutting into the lace causing them to snap. I will buy sketchers again for work or leisure use but I will buy ones with proper eyelets that protect the lace.

Didn't like the boot around the ankle, it was uncomfortable.

Returned boots!

I finally got my husband to agree to try Skechers; he loved the first two pair. This last pair was not available in his correct size, so I bought a size larger. He says they make his feet hurt due to incorrect sizing. Otherwise, the shoes are perfect.

I have always ordered size 11s and they've always been comfortable. The size 11 is too wide, made my foot rock side to side, and put incredible pressure on my toes.

Was very disappointed because that I had to exchange the boot for another in Latham Sketchers store. To be save I got one that did not go over my ankle. Feel and look great

Further to my con remark. I have worn them 3-4 times in wet grass. Socks are soaked in the toe area after every wearing.

This boot is not waterproof. I won't even consider it water resistant. 10 minutes in light rain and my feet were soaked. Took 3 days to dry out.

They don't hold up. The fit was good and comfortable but on the fourth time I put them on the lace loop one one boot popped off. I have returned them to see if the next pair does the same thing but so far I haven't heard or seen anything.
