It's a great backpack that's stylish and fits all your stuff. It's super lightweight and the smaller pockets are great to get to your phone, wallet, headphones or whatever you need in a jiffy.

I bought the new refreshed version of this backpack, so this review will be the most outdated. However, North Face continues to bring the best products to date and I love mine. It is roomy enough for me as a student, extremely comfortable, and enough pockets to last me days. My favorite feature is the laptop sling tech they have. It keeps your laptop suspended in the air instead of having it touch the ground everytime you set it down. You have no idea how much backpacks just lets the laptop touch the bottom and hit the floor. Things like the laptop sling is clear sign of attention to detail and is what continues me keep coming back to North Face. One thing i would like improved is the waist strap as it isnt as innovative to take off as the sternum straps per say. But overall, the borealis continues to be the leading standards for backpacks in my life. Great job :)

I love this new model, I have the old model of this backpack and used it to it's full potential, decided it was time for a new one and was so happy to see they changed it, I LOVE IT EVEN MORE! I love the laptop, tablet, and phone pockets (so soft and prevents scratches). Definitely keeping up with this generation of technology. LOVE IT!

The color, comfort level, and space were all perfect. I was worried it was going to be too small, but nope! It was the perfect size for me to carry my college textbooks. I absolutely love the back support! It was well worth the money I spent.

I use this bag on a daily basis to and from work in NYC. Also for weekend trips. Its really practical and super stylish.

Bought this as a gift for my boyfriend and so far he loves it. Loves the design and can be used for school or traveling

I love this back pack and it will be great for college!

I needed a new backpack for college and this was perfect. The laptop sleeve fit my 15 inch laptop, but because it was a thicker computer (it's a gaming computer) I wasn't going to be able to use it. I was very sad to have to return it because I loved this pack very much for its features and look. 10/10 would buy again. (Also, if you're worried about the laptop sleeve, it will fit you computer as long as it's not very thick.

This is a great backpack for work or school. There's a lot of space and pockets to fit anything and everything. Include a dedicated section to securely transport your laptop. The straps and backing are padded to provide great support and comfort. Well-designed for ventilation as well.

Book bag matches all of my needs. Major upgrade!

I have bought this pack for years....the update looked good but I still worried I would like the old model better....BUT the update is amazing. The material seems to be better quality and the back of the pack is so cushiony! Straps are super comfortable and all the digital compartments are super soft and padded! Best just got better...rock on North Face.

Great for college

This purchase was as good as it gets. I have had several backpacks for work use and have "blown through" all of them. My job requires weekly travel and I use my backpack daily for computer, iPad, files, etc. The previous brand have broken down quickly with numerous issues (broken zipper, torn pockets, etc.) This North Face bag is strudy and stylish. I owe it to my son for recommending North Face, as he has had his NF backback for 4 years and it is still in use.

I bought this for my husband as a thank you gift and he loves it. His other backpack tore completely so I'm hoping the Northface brand lives up to its hype and last longer than his other one (different brand). The backpack is incredibly roomy and holds all of his heavy textbooks. Nice looking too.

I purchased this for my son. His previous one he had for two years and was stolen at college. It was in excellent shape. He liked it so much that he wanted a second one. Good testimony to a fine product!! It's not the largest of backpacks but it suits him well as he doesn't like to carry anything too bulky.

I really love this backpack, it was totally what I hoped it would be. The only issue I've had is that there's a lot of space, but that space doesn't seem to stretch out very well. It will go down, but not out. This hasn't bothered me too much though, and the other features more than make up for it. A fantastic backpack.

Best backpack ever

This is a great commuter backpack. I use it to commute to work with my laptop that I always have on me. I love the fact that there are so many pockets and it is very durable. I use it for traveling too because it is so roomy. It fits everything very well and I have a place for everything that I need. The North Face never fails me.

I always knew that the North Face had incredible packs but I was blown away when I used this pack for the first time. These packs are designed just for women!! I haven't seen any other brand do that before. That is so clever of them to add the night soft fabric inside of the pockets to keep my phone and sunglasses from getting scratched. I am bummed I have to wait until next school year to show off my pack but I am going to use it all summer long!!!!

Got this after having a backpack that constantly hurt shoulders and back. After using for about 6 months, I can stand with this on and about 10 pounds in the bag and have no discomfort. Balances weight perfectly on shoulder and I love the pocket for a tablet. Everything anyone could ask for and is still an extremely thin backpack that is barely noticeable

The bag is spacious and has many compartments. I love it! Definitely would recommend.

The borealis backpack by north face is the greatest backpack I've ever owned. It's light weight to carry anywhere you go but also durable enough to last a life time. This should be your go to backpack when looking to buy one!

My daughter kept going through backpack after backpack for school. We decided to try this North Face backpack and spend the extra money. Her words, "it is amazing!" Lots of compartments to put all of her school supplies/textbooks/etc. The other great thing is it helps lighten the load because of the extra padding on straps. Not only does it function great, but it is also great looking. I think we have found a backpack that will last her for several years!

Love the new backpack it is great for anything! Everything is excellent it even holds my mac book!

My friend recently purchased this backpack and after I saw it I fell in love and bought one myself. The amount of compartments is perfect for everything a college student may need to hold. It won't easily fit three textbooks in it at once with your laptop and binder but plenty of space for one or two. Back panel makes carrying this backpack more enjoyable and less of a chore. I am extremely happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend.
