Super comfy and perfect amount of pockets

We purchased this bag for my son. He had a north face bag for 4 years and it still looks brand new! He uses it for school and was ready for a new color this year. The old one, that still looks new, is now a travel bag! Will purchase north face again! Very durable!

I use this backpack for college, and I think it is really great. It fits all my schoolwork.

I bought this for my first year of college, and I love it. The cushioned slots are great for electronics, and there is still enough space for books and papers.

I absolutely love this backpack. Not only is it sturdy and comfortable to wear, but it is very stylish also. I always receive comments when I wear this backpack. It is very is very useful for school and carrying around a load of heavy books comfortably. This product is definitely worth the money!

I love this backpack is has everything I could want! And it's super roomy. The only con is the straps can hurt if you're wearing a tank top with it. But I figure they will soften with use. I've had it for a month

Bought this for my son for school! Works out great!! Holds all of his things with room leftover. Great product!!

Back to school backpack

This is a really great backpack, especially for a college student. I walk to campus everyday and had bad back problems due to years of carrying a backpack with no support. After using this backpack for a week, i have not felt any pain at all! I like how the pockets are fleece lined to protect my phone and electronics. It is a good sized backpack but not too big. I really reccomend this. It fits all my notebooks and I can see myself using it for travel and on the plane. You just have to break it in for a week or two becauseit is a little stiff when you first get it. After, it slightly conforms to you and is perfect!

I use this backpack for school and it is fantastic! Whether I'm biking to class or walking through campus it is very comfortable and looks nice too. There are lots of pockets to help keep organized which I love!

I gave the backpack 5 stars because it really is a nicely constructed bag. I ordered the backpack for my daughter who is in middle school. When the backpack is full of folders, books, pens and other things it is quite heavy but I do understand it is built for more of a 'laptop' protection design etc...If I were using it for its intended use, it would be perfect! Thank you North Face!

I really like this backpack! It fits all of my five huge textbooks ( I just started PTA school) and I don't feel like it's going to fall apart due to the weight

This backpack is sturdy and roomy. Perfect for school and work! My sister (who has destroyed all other types of backpacks within months) bought one last year and it is still in amazing condition so decided to get one. I am so happy I did. This backpack is amazing!

im a college student so my main focus when looking for school supplies is durability and practicality. this is my first time buying a northface product and i have to say i am impressed by the quality of their items. i bought the borealis in surf green and it is the most beautiful mint color, its durable, spacious, and ridiculously comfortable on my 5'4 frame. i would hands down recommend this product to EVERYBODY and im already looking for my next northface investment! im blown away by the quality and excellent customer service.

I have the previous version of this backpack and I absolutely love it. The only problem is that it is so incredibly popular that I have seen at least four different people use them in the small community college that I go to. Hence, I am looking to get this updated version when I get the funds.

Using it for high school

I am using this as my school backpack - I take a full course load, participate in several additional activities, and also work. This will serve all purposes!

I ordered three Borealis for my grandsons that are in high school. They love the roomy and design of the NorthFace backpack.

Lots of pockets, including a lined pocket for a tablet or laptop. It also has a couple of places to put water bottles. My daughter is excited to use it for school.

First of all, this is a very attractive bag. I am going to be using it for travel, primarily one that involves teenagers. I figure this will be easy to keep clean and maintain. I love that the straps adjust to fit snugly against my back (I don't like a backpack that slings). The straps are very comfortable with the padding. It is large without being too large for my size. I didn't want a bag that I have to watch where I'm turning and how I'm turning for fear of knocking into another person or knocking something off a shelf.

I use to think it was crazy to spend so much money on a bookbag until now. The north face bookbag that I bought is the best I have ever owned! In the past my shoulders would hurt whenever I carried my book bag around now since using the north face my sholdsrs no longer hurt. I am the manager of a sporting good store that carries the north face bookbags and I recommend it to every customer.

I will use this back pack for college. I bought my first north face backpack years ago and it last so long and I have no doubt that this will prove the same.

I use this for field trips (I'm a teacher), and laptop storage/transportation. I love all the clever features, like the built-in whistle and the sturdy back padding!

Going back to school in your 30's means you need practical along with style.

I bought this backpack because I was tired of other back packs wearing out. I carry all of my books, laptop and clothes in my backpack for college. What was a great surprise was that the back of the pack was very stiff so it was alot more durable. It had extra pdding on the back and shoulders which is also great. I wont have to buy a backpack for a while!
