This holds up to the "wear and tear" of everyday use, and it looks great, too!!!

I use this backpack for school for my books. It's great because it fits everything and has a special spot for everything, like my laptop, pens, etc. I love the little accessible pocket at the top! It also fits perfectly on my back and the color is as it looks online. The only thing I would say I don't like is the straps are kind of scratchy.

I love it! I got it for college this fall and it's great! Perfect amount of space and has a computer pocket!

I'm very pleased with this backpack. Although it is a little bit larger and stiffer than I expected, it makes carrying around a lot of heavy items (like my school books) much easier than I expected. Hopefully the stiffness will alleviate over time and use. I also really love the small pocket on the top front of the backpack that is perfect for my wallet/glasses/gym lock or anything I need to be really accessible. The only thing that kind of bothers me about it is the side bags (that hold water bottles and stuff) go up much higher than in used to making it kind of difficult to reach for my water bottle while I'm wearing my backpack. I have to take one strap off to reach my bottle, but I know it's only designed that way to make the side bags hold things much more securely than other backpacks (which they do). The backpack is really durable too, so I know I will put it to good use for a long time. It comes in a lot of different cute colors but you can never go wrong with black on black. I've only used he bag for school so far but I'm looking forward to seeing how it feels on a long hike. Overall, very very happy with this backpack.

I'm a college student and this backpack is perfect. It fits all my books and class materials and its stylish! It has many different pockets and compartments that are perfect for all the little things you might need to carry around. The pack has great cushioning for back support as well. Great product.

This is the ultimate backpack. I'm a college student studying nursing and I have endless amounts of heavy, thick books I need for class. This backpack came to my rescue in accommodating my needs to carry these books:) More so, it also provides ample space for my laptop, folders and essentials needed for class. It has amazing straps with comfort padding that synch just "right", which alleviates the pull-down effect most other backpacks have. I have scoliosis, so this is huge for me!! I got this backpack my first year in college and it lasted me a long time. I just needed a new one or my old one would have lasted the whole four years of college

I updated from a 5-year-old Recon backpack and this one works just as well if not better. Haven't found out yet if it is water resistant yet but as far as comfort and practicality, it's been golden.

I use this backpack everyday for school and for biking. Occasionally I use it for hiking and it is able to hold most of the things I need for my use.

This backpack is the perfect size for school that I don't overfill it. The material is comfortable and sturdy. Overall it's a great backpack to use at school to carry around all your belongings!

This back pack fits all of my textbooks. I'm taking a night class so I love the fact it has a whistle on the clip.

I don't usually spend much money on a backpack but you know the old saying... You get what you pay for! I'm so happy with my purchase, the backpack is very well made and North Face has thought of everything in designing this bag! I won't need a new one for many years to come! Highly recommend!

I bought this backpack for college after outgrowing one from a different brand. This backpack holds my laptop, textbooks, folders, and everything in between. The unique structure makes it feel weightless, even after walking around a huge college campus all day!

Good looking, functional, rugged. Lasts an entire High School or College career. Great value because of the exceptional quality.

I use this backpack everyday for school, biking, and hiking. Its many compartments allow me to organize my bag extremely well. The laptop sleeve is snug unlike many other backpacks that allow your laptop to flop around and possibly get damaged. The backpack can hold a lot more than it looks. While light and minimalistic, the bag can expand to fill up to 30 liters of stuff. (I keep 3-4 binders, some folders, and 2 workbooks plus a laptop) When the bag is mostly empty, the bag doesn't look flat at all, appearing as the same as if it were full. The bag looks, feels, and is extremely durable. Its straps are thicker than most backpacks, the zippers have larger teeth, and the exterior of the backpack is water resistant. The extra padding on the back and straps makes usage more comfortable as well. If you are a back sweater, this is the bag for you. The airy design keeps my back dry for hours.

This is a high quality backpack that I will be able to use for years. Great design, easy to load, large capacity in and compact bag, and very comfortable to wear even with a heavier pack. I would recommend this bag for almost any application.

In all honesty, I love the Borealis backpack. Fits perfectly along my shoulders and isn't a burden to my back. Has multiple compartments which I love because I'm a neat freak and it helps me organize. I got the black one and I love that it matches with any outfit! I recommend the backpack to you all!!!
