I'm a freshman in college and I purchased this backpack for all the textbooks I would need to carry with me on top of my notebooks and laptop. My backpack is stuffed and it still feels pretty light in comparison to other backpacks. It has plenty of pockets for pencils and pens or whatever you chose to carry with you and the laptop holder in the back is perfect so your laptop isn't destroyed. I absolutely love the color and the design and will purchase another one next year. I would definitely recommend purchasing this if you have a laptop, lots of things to carry or if you just want a reliable backpack.

Amazing backpack! Perfect size for my school books and laptop.

My daughter absolutely loves her backpack!! In spite of everthing she carries, its lightweight and and stays dry even when left outside in the rain . There is a place for everthing including deep pockets for her water bottles.

I love Nothface and I have always purchased my kids backpacks here because they are the best! The Borealis Backpack was perfect for my daughter, she's very picky and needed a bag for ALL of her things! She just started high school ;) This bag is super supportive for her back and shoulders. I can't put it into words but, just know You have an extremely satisfied teenager and mom! We will be back again and again!

I use this backpack for school. It carries my heavy books super well. It also has great cushion for my back which is exactly what I was looking for!

I pretty much use this backpack just to go to class but I'll definitely be taking it with me on the next trip I go on. It has a lot of storage space and the stiff back really helps me stand up straighter than I did with my previous backpack.

My daughter uses this backpack for school. It is able to hold everything she needs (she carries her lunch, books, notebooks, clothes, water bottle etc). It is durable and has washed up nicely using a damp cloth. She loves it and so do I because we don't need to shift things around to make everything fit. Would buy it again in a heart beat. Well worth the money.

This backpack is amazing, you can fit anything into it, not only that but it has compartments for everything. I was able to travel with this backpack and not have to worry about anything ripping because I had put a lot of stuff into the backpack. Its also great for school! I am able to put my laptop, and many books and notebooks into it and not have to worry about nothing fitting. I have had his backpack for a little over a month now, and it has treated me really well. Nothing had broken off and none of he zippers have jammed up which is amazing since i have gone through many backpacks with that happening. Overall, this backpack is really good quality and I definitely recommend for anyone to buy it, wether its for school, work, hiking, or traveling. It is perfect for anything!

I use this product to carry my binders and books around school. As I a high school student I find it extremely comfortable compared to the many other bags that I have tried. The straps help relieve back and shoulder pains, and the many pockets provide ample space for all of my materials/devices.

Great backpack for school. Large compartment has laptop sleeve that keeps my laptop snug with plenty of room for my notebooks and folders.

I sent in my old Hotshot backpack because of The North Face's amazing lifetime warranty. My backpack has been with me all over the world and has taken a bit of damage. I sent it in to see if I could get the tears repaired but after evaluation, they were not able to. The North Face sent me a gift card in the amount of my Hotshot backpack. They no long had the Hotshot in the style that I wanted in stock but I saw this beautiful Cardinal Red Borealis Backpack. I went ahead an purchased it and it was everything my Hotshot backpack was and more! I am super satisfied with my purchase!

Travelling overseas for two semesters and this backpack was packed to the fullest with all of my necessities!! Held my hydroflask with a carabineer and I was ready to go. Love the size of this as it is a little bigger (but not too big) to use as both a school backpack, but also day trips in the alps.

I'm a 5"2 female in college and i have always had issues with backpacks hurting my back from the weight and all other big backpacks i tried to use were too big or completely uncomfortable and to b honest ugly! but when i saw my boyfriend's Northface backpack it was instantly something i liked! and to discover there are women fitted ones as well was an even better plus! the backpack its self seems a little on the heavy side when you first hold it but once its on your back, its like the weight magically disappears.

This backpack is the perfect size and it's extremely durable. It holds my daughter's binders and laptop with ease along with her water bottle and the size of it is perfect even for a petite teenager!

This backpack is really wonderful. Its super small, but holds SO MUCH. I love the built in lap top sleeve and all of the pockets. I never lose anything because there is a pocket for everything.

My 13 year old son loves this backpack. He has gotten many compliments from his classmates.

I needed a new backpack for school and this one is working out great. Plenty of room for computer, binder and lunch along with a few other items. Definitely recommend this backpack.

I use this product for school and I've never felt more organized before. It fits my notebooks and binders for all my 6 classes and I still have room to separate my pencils and calculators and smaller stuff so it's not just all thrown into one pouch. It's beyond comfortable and although I've put it through a lot by just throwing it everywhere when I get home from school, it is still in perfect condition.

Love this backpack! All of the different pockets are perfect for keeping things organized. I love the fleece pocket on the top for sunglasses (keeps them well protected). Fits my body well and is comfortable to carry around for hours. The black and gold is gorgeous, great neutral with interesting details.
