When I first received my brown/scotch Florsheim Corbetta cap toe Oxfords in the mail, I was unimpressed because there were visible scuff marks on the back of the heel and along the sides. However, it is good to note that this problem was solved with a bit of polishing. I also did not particularly like the way they looked (they looked better on the website) but out of all the shoes I have, this pair by far got the most compliments from people who saw them, even after quite a bit of wear, so I have begun to warm up to them. This pair is also very comfortable to wear for extended periods of time, however not with shorter socks, as the back of the shoe can rub quite a bit against the Achilles. The brown color also goes well with almost anything that I would wear (usually jeans and a nicer shirt), and stands out enough to be noticed, but does not dominate the ensemble.

I was disappointed in this shoe. There are no metal eyelets to guide the shoe strings. Am not a fan of the extended toe.

I returned this pair of shoes because they did not fit, to narrow and I did not like the toe style. I ordered a different pair, Broxton in a wider size, thank you.

I was disappointed with the overall size of the shoe. I ordered 11.5 but the shoe looks like size 13.

Casual Dress

The shoes started showing wear after one use! I work in an office and by lunch, the shoe looked as if I walked a marathon. I dont recommend!

I'm very disappointed with these shoes. The look, color, and design are spot onbut after a few weeks of wearing them, there are several issues that will likely make me stop wearing them. Firstly, the leather was extremely squeaky, which made wearing them in an office environment a major distraction unless I applied leather conditioner. Secondly, there seems to be a defect in the right shoe which causes major discomfort toward the front of the foot. Overall I've been very pleased with prior product purchases which makes these issues with this pair very disappointing.

The shoes look ok but hard to say how long it will last. Sole seems to made out of plastic. The eyelets have no metal rings like previous generations of FS shoes. Sad to see the quality has decreased so much over the years.

The leather quality looks and feels good, however the sole is already wearing out even after 2 days of use. sole is now kind of white. This was my first purchase from Florsheim and i had expected better quality in sole as well. Disappointed. I will have to think twice before purchasing from here. Thanks!""

After one use, the shoe breaks down around the toe area.

The shoe fell apart and sole and leather partially discolored and creased after one day of use

I have been ordering 13 -EEE shoes from Florsheim for years, but recently, the quality has gone down and the fits have really changed. I have returned the last three pair. This one literally looks like a clown shoe when I put it on. It's literally 3 to 4 inches longer than all the other 13 EEE shoes I've bought from Florsheim over the past decade. They've been my go to company for dress shoes for years, but this is ridiculous. I'm very disappointed.
