Best boots ever, so comfortable my husband loves wearing them and durable for heavy construction. They last him a year in 12 hour heavy use days in all weather conditions.

These boots do not hold up. There is a manufacture defect that splits seams where the toe meets the metatarsal guard. And sens it hasn't been a year yet my company will not purchase me another pair.

This boot lasted my husband over a year in the oilfield! Highly recommend! Also like the width options!

The shoes are awesome when you put copperfit inserts in them. I'm a blacksmith. I'm under horses all day long. Best foot protection out there. But they do have stitching issues overtime in the same spots i always have 2 pair. I swap out every day.

Comfortable with great foot protection. Perfect for my intended use. The top of the arch protection plate is something I had never seen before. It provides protection but does not inhibit mobility.

We've had to provide multiple employees more than one boot voucher in one calendar year for this same defect. We will not be providing this boot as an option for our employees next year and into the future.

Most comfortable boot I have found bit the last 2 pairs the toe stitching has ripped out both times. I know they have a 1 year warranty but I always try to keep an extra pair on hand but this last pair made it 5 months of actual wear. Great boots if the stitching would last.

Great protection!! However, it does not have the comfort and cushion, I had to quit using them after my first day because I was getting pain in my ankles

Feels just like my other non safety Keen boots, which is a huge bonus. Steel toe boots shouldnt have to be uncomfortable. I walk about 6 miles per day at work. These are fantastic.

Please don't ever stop making these boots. The are INCREDIBLE.

Very new to KEEN footwear, very satisfied so far. I wore Wolverine boots for over 15 years, their quality has been going downhill for awhile & it was time to make a change, glad I did. I even bought a pair of KEEN Pyrenees hiking boots as well

First pair of metatarsals but third pair of Keens. They last about 3-4 years in a tough foundry environment.

I usually buy regular steel toe Mount Vernon 6-in. But it appears that it is out of stock and possibly discontinued. These were a little bit more money and I didn't care for the met cover so I cut it off

Wore boots for a month and the left toe stitching ripped!

I have worn Keen workboots for the past 10 years - always good fit and comfort and except for weak shoelaces, I have rarely had any complaints. I bought the Mt. Vernon because I was interested in the addition tarsal protection. After wearing the Mt. Vernon at work for two months the seam across the toe at the base of the tarsal flap has totally failed on both shoes. Completely unacceptable in a shoe in this price range and wrong at any price on a Keen product. Correct this obvious defect and this is otherwise a comfortable and protective shoe.

I loved these boots at first, they are comfortable, with great protection. But then, as you will see in many other poor reviews, the stitching across the toes failed after just a few months of regular wear. One is completely open now, the other is starting to fail. Not what I expect from Keen, really disappointing.

Favorite brand met guard boots

The upper still hasnt broke in and is extremely rigid. Where the met guard attaches on the toe it rebounds back into my toes. Not a well made boot like I am used to.

These boots are terrible after not even a month of wearing them the leather ripped across the whole front of the toe area.

The stitching is coming apart on the toe after only wearing them for a month.
