I bought this for my middle schooler during Christmas break. It's well designed, fashionable, and ergonomic. He loved it so much, he wore it everywhere! It fit a lot more than expected, so it was convenient for travel. He trekked around the city and did a few hikes with it as well, carrying all of our convenient items comfortably. Love it!

I am so happy with this pack. I have a freelancer life-I have several places to get to, different each day, and I bike, drive, and use public transportation. I usually bring some food, extra clothes, a water bottle, a small purse with my wallet and personal stuff, sometimes my computer, often a book, a travel container of coffee... When I took this backpack out of the box, it looked small and I was worried that I'd made a bad choice. But somehow, all my stuff fits in easily. (I have 13" computer and I don't think anything bigger would fit in the padded pocket.) With all those things in it, I still feel hardly anything when I put it on. The construction makes it support everything without feeling heavy. I also walked in a hard rainstorm right after I started using this backpack, and it is completely waterproof. I know this sounds like an ad, but I really am crazy about this thing. I'm 5'3" and the pack fits well and looks low-profile on me. The only con would be for someone who wanted little compartments inside, which it doesn't have.

I bought this bag in red over a year and a half ago back in May/June-ish. Since then, it's accompanied me travelling internationally as my one bag (I pack light), and on my every day commute. Bottom line: I wish I could take the best of this bag and put it into another bag, because this maybe gets 70% of my needs. Pros: - Fantastic style, especially in the now discontinued red. Seeing it in person was what drew me to the bag in the first place. - Love the reflective hits. Safety at night is really important to me and I found the reflectivity to be a great feature of the bag - Size. While a lot of negative reviews complain about the size, I find it to be quite good for packing all your essentials. I just finished using it for a month long work stint where I basically have been living out of my bag for a majority of the time. Perfect for someone on the smaller side of life. Cons: - Durability of the coating. Over time, I found that the vinyl coating would crease and crack in various places, especially on the opening flaps. It hasn't affected the bag from a functional standpoint, but I'm very sure it will in time. This was one of the biggest disappointments when it came to the bag. - Weight. This is a surprisingly heavy bag at 2lbs, which is a trade off to get 940D cordura in the bag. - If I really had to nitpick, the strap length is also a big too long for me

The backpack is fantastically made. However, it was not as laterally wide as I anticipated. Where it lacks the width, the depth makes up.

This bag is sleek and stylish. I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a laptop bag who prefers a bag pack over a long strapped laptop case. It easily fits my 13" Macbook Pro. It could fit a few files/notebooks/thin books in the main section but not much else. It was a lot smaller than I expected. Though I'm used to bulk laptop backpacks which are ugly and heavy even when empty. So in that sense, this would be a nice bag to take everyday to work as it's much lighter and looks nicer. The bulk bags usually have a full separate compartment for the laptop. In the main section of this bag, on the back, there is a thin lightly padded pocket. I'm not sure if that's for the laptop, but the laptop does fit in there even thought the Macbook pro is not fully covered. If you have a softer frame laptop (like the Lenovo x1 carbon which I also own) you would either want something more padded or not want to place anything else in the bag lest it be crushed. Additionally, It would have been nice it had a few more pockets/built in dividers that could hold smaller things like cards and pens etc in addition to the key holder. I would prefer a bag with these things when I travel with it on flights. There is a removable rain cover that fits in a pocket at the bottom of the backpack. I would probably remove it just to have another pocket as it seems the bag is pretty water resistant on its own. The straps are nicely padded and comfortable.

I love that this pack is stylish as well as packed with functionality for cyclists: The rain flap, the loop to attacb a bike light, and the reflective fabric have all come in handy. However, I find myself constantly having to unpack and repack the bag to access anything, because it is slim and tall. Unless you want to pack everything into your bag at home and unpack it all at the office etc. later, I would not recommend it.

Tough, redistributes weight well, waterproof, and not too big (really ideal commuting pack but rugged enough to carry loads). I never review stuff but am making an exception for an exceptional product.

I love this bag so much. I bought it maybe 2018? And it's still going strong. There's a little peeling on the flap, but otherwise great condition. It's functional and I use it for hikes, work (fits my laptop and books), travel, the beach! Etc. the features are everything I didn't know I wanted and needed. I would buy (and probably will buy!) this again in a heart beat!

I really never write reviews but I have to say, I bought this bag in May 2020 and have been using it literally almost every single day since then - it is durable as HECK. It's functionally the same as the day I bought it, just a little more scuffed up - and that's mostly due to me forgetting to clean it, because I'm using it so often. It holds my laptop plus everything else I need for a daily work commute - I've also taken it as my backpack on every vacation I've gone on. It's held up phenomenally. The only thing I'll say is that magnetic latch buttons are not quite as secure as a roll top or zipper - but that's only ever come up when I'm storing it on its side, and even then I don't think I've ever lost anything. Stays shut like a dream when I'm biking - and often it's really nice to just easily be able to open it. Anyway, just came here to sing its praises - I bought it to have a solid everyday commuting bag, and it has really exceeded expectations. Also it's really cute!!

This is my daily driver as a field sales person. Its uncomplicated storage makes it easy to use and fast to find everything. I paired this with a portfolio for my tablet and often used item. The build quality and feel is absolutely perfect.

I use this for work everyday. It has just the right amount of pockets and features. I can fit an umbrella and water bottle on the side pockets. Im not a fan of the Velcro on the inside laptop pocket. It's slightly small for day/weekend trips.

I bought this bag seven years ago as a daily carry to work. When I retired and moved five years ago I tossed it into the closet with everything else work-related. I recently grabbed it as a gym bag. It's small but holds just enough with a bit of extra room for a few items from the grocery store or pharmacy. I've recently tired of all the expensive, heavy photography bags I've bought and I've started using the Robin Commuter for camera gear too. It's perfect.

This is the second Robin Commuter Backpack I have purchased. My first one lasted for seven years, during which I carried it to many countries. It is durable and stylish. I hope you can produce this backpack in more colors.

I absolutely love this bag! It's my third one. The price scared me away at first but at the time it was on sale so I got it and I'm glad I did. The slender profile, sleek material, modern and simplistic look with the hints of reflective and technical details just look so good in my opinion. I wasn't sure how I'd adjust to the magnetic aspects but I've come to find it's a great highlight and I've had no issues. I've had many compliments too, which tell me I'm not alone. It works well for me being a short, tiny person but for someone bigger it may seem too small. I really only use it for everyday essentials like my laptop or notebook, some snacks, my water bottle and maybe a sweatshirt. I used to take it on trails with me but I use it for work and study now. That's really all it can handle in my experience. Also, it doesn't bother me that I can only access things from top-down but I guess for some that would feel quite limiting. The only thing that kind of bothers me is that on my first one, the outer material started peeling (warranty replaced it). I'm willing to accept that may be from me keeping it in the sun so often though. Still, it was a huge bummer. I also really miss the surplus green. I don't know why it isn't offered here anymore! I ordered my current one from Canada. Lastly, the bag can seem a little heavy at times. To me, it's worth it in exchange for everything I get but if there's anything I could ask for, it would be for it to be lighter.

This backpack is medium sized and compact. Perfect to fit everything I need. The opening flap and magnets on the front pocket are very satisfying to use. I also really love the style and look which is why I chose this product in the first place.

I am a daily commuter in Washington DC, the previous reviews were very helpful so when my back pack arrived I was very pleased it was everything I read about. I like the outer pockets and the lanyard, I can keep my train pass and ID on that so they are never lost. My only suggestion would be to make the side pockets a bit deeper, it hasn't happened yet, but my umbrella looks like it will fall out. Other than that, the quality, size, comfort, and style are all great.
