It's just the right size for my MBP. Plenty of pockets for my tech gear. The shoulder pad is great and I love the quick adjustment of the shoulder strap.

Got it for my son who is a photography student in NYC. Perfect for lugging his laptop and a camera or two. Rugged and waterproof, which is key!

Compared to the Messenger bag (S) I used, the shoulder belt adjustment has evolved even more and is easier to use. The Napoleon pocket can also be opened and closed on both sides, making it easy to use for both right-handed and left-handed people.

I purchased this as a bag for my commute, which is around 15 minutes by bike. The bag arrived quickly. The build quality of the bag, straps, and shoulder pad feel high quality and durable. The included stability strap attaches to the main strap helps secure the bag while biking. There is a small learning curve with fitting the strap length/ shoulder pad placement out of the box to optimize ergonomics-- the online video helped. I'm hoping the bag will hold up over years of regular use.

This is my everyday work bag and I could NOT be happier! It holds all of my gear and is easy to adjust. The Velcro catches everything so be mindful what gets near it. Resists water and stains well.

I purchased the Timbuk2 Small Messenger Bag in honey yellow and am thrilled with it. I snagged it after receiving an invitation to serve in the Peace Corps and later discovered that the company offers discounts to PCVs! Oh well, live and learn. I still received their Black Friday discount but would have paid full price. The bag's design is bright, sleek, modern, and practical. It's spacious enough to hold my essentials (laptop, charger, notebooks, pens, water bottle) but not so big that it feels bulky or awkward. Its multiple internal pockets make it easy to separate and organize my items, while the main compartment comfortably fits my 13-inch laptop. I like that there aren't any outward pockets, so once it's shut, velcroed, and clipped, its contents are virtually inaccessible to others. The materials are top-notch, sturdy, and durable, with water-resistant fabric and solid buckles, zippers, etc. I also bought the 3-Way Accessory Case, which velcros to the bag's strap. It discreetly keeps my money, phone, keys, and ID close, safe, and easily accessible. This built-to-last bag balances functionality, durability, and style. If you're searching for a modern, practical messenger bag, look no further; this one exceeds expectations in every way.

This is my fourth Timbuk2 product, and like the others I've purchased I couldn't be happier! I love that there are several sizes available so I could get just what I needed. Color is long lasting, multiple ways to carry, plenty of organizing possibilities, and very rugged - just what I needed!

I use this messenger bag all the time when I go cycling on my days off. But after I realized that it is also useful when I take a crowded train to work on weekdays in Tokyo, I started using it every day, both on weekends and weekdays.

I use this bag for my everyday work bag. The craftsmanship and material are top notch. I wish I would have purchased this bag years ago. The size is perf for my laptop, legal pad and all my accessories. I do wish they had a few more pockets. I love this bag.

This will be replacing my work Ogio bag. I wanted to test the size of the bag and its capacity to hold my needed items. I ordered both a S and M and Timbuk2 was superb on returning my items. Now I will likely order the custom version I prefer.

I liked the variability in colors and fabric. I bought it to fit under my seat for flights and it does the job I wanted it to do. Only small thing that could be improved is the straps that allow the bag to expand stop prematurely and it looks smooshed and does not totally fill. Doesn't look totally clean but not a dealbreaker.

This is my 3rd Timbuk2 carrier bag since 2002. These bags are rugged, durable and look great. I know I've put my bags through some pretty rough adventures, and they've always come out the other side with little to no harm; often in better shape than me.

My wife bought me my first Nautical Timbuk2 bag over 20 years ago while I was a dental studentI've used it just about every day since then and I love it. Just bought a second one, not to replace, but to give my 20 year old son who is in college now. Love this bag!!!

I have had a variety of Timbuk2 bags and the messenger always fits the bill for what I need! I use the extra small as an everyday bag/purse and the small is great for trips or all day outings if you want to pack a water bottle snacks etc. all the storage helps keep things organized so you aren't digging endlessly through the bag, everything has its spot. The honey is an adorable color! Not too bright yellow, more golden and a fun almost neutral pop of color.

Really good bag, bought it to replace my dear departed Crumpler. It's actually a little too big for what I need, and a shade too big to count as a personal item for the airlines, at least if it's stuffed full and they're really strict about it. (My fault for not reading the measurements properly, of course). Looks great, seems to be waterproof (haven't had occasion to test it out yet), very nice strap + adjustment system. Carrying handle is great, and something the Crumpler definitely lacked. Only thing I'd change is to give it a wider inside pocket. Right now it has four narrow ones, and the two water bottle holders....it needs something in-between sized. Either merge two of the small ones, or add one or two on the other side (the side with the laptop sleeve).

This is replacing a worn out back pack for my under seat carry on bag. Love the organization options. Looking forward to using it for many years.

7 years in this messenger bag amazes me daily. It has no significance wear at all, if I get it dirty just wipe it off with a damp cloth. It's like brand new again. I travel a bit and this is my go to bag, everything I wear and need for flying and first and return day goes in it. I basically don't go out without it, daily use all my important gear goes in it in a clutter free fashion. Headphones, cords, pens , iPad, sunglasses, everything has its secure spot. I've bought a bunch of other bags on whims, they all turn into gifts to other people. My Timbuck 2, is my gift to myself. Thank you for such a well made bag. If I buy another one from you it will be because it's just cool looking, because I don't see this one ever wearing out.
