Great size for doing my weekend running around, walking my puppy, being able to carry what I need without having to fish for it or try to squeeze things into a waist pack!

Great sturdy construction and thoughtful design. Works well as a work bag for laptop, papers, and supplies.

I would use this for personal items in all weather conditions to protect my items with little inconvenience.

This was a Christmas gift for my husband and he loves it! The velcro that helps hold the strap in place is loud if you're in a quiet setting. It's the perfect size.

Been a timbuk2 customer since the beginning when they were bags coveted and used by bike messengers. Still the same top-north quality, love the few tweaks to design. The colors are great. Gave as a gift to my teen looking forward to making another Timbuk2 fan.

This is an everyday use bag. As far as messenger bags go this one is good. I have a messenger bag from 5.11 and it has almost no storage space but a million little pockets. This bag has less little pockets but a lot more storage space. The capacity is the same as a regular backpack, which is great. The compression straps on the bottom work well to expand or contract it. However, when fully compressed the straps just dangle there. Maybe some mechanism that would make it possible to roll them up would be nice. The main strap has that quick release thing, which is cool. There are some organizational pockets in the bag but not an excessive amount. The material seems nice, probably pretty durable. I have a Jansport I bought used over 20 years ago that travelled the world with me that is still doing well so if this bag is half that durable then I'll be fine. Ultimately I like it. I'm looking forward to using it on a semi-daily basis.

This bag is amazing! I got is a gift for my brother and he loves it. I was scared the small size would be too small for his needs (school), but it's perfect - it fits his 13" laptop and other things. The look is so sleek - perfect for young adults! Overall, an amazing purchase and I would highly recommend!

I bought this as a holiday gift for my son, who is a college student in an area that gets some tough weather. It's a simple bag, well made and roomy in the medium size. Perfect for public transit to/from school with enough room for a laptop, cords/chargers, books, a light jacket, etc. As with all my Timbuk2 bags, I expect it to last a long time.

A great alternative to a backpack for daily use - easily fits a laptop and other basics. It's very handsome, sturdy and well made.

I bought the XS messenger bag at Powell's bookstore in Portland about 5 or 6 years ago and have used it daily ever since. Occasionally, I try to branch out and try other bags, but I always end up going back to this bag. It's so durable, even after daily use for 5+ years, it still looks brand new. It's practical, goes with everything I wear, fits all of my belongings and more, and like I already said, it is very durable so I don't have to worry about scratching it like I would a leather bag. I can toss it around, take it on a hike with me, and I don't have to worry about scuffing it up. It's also just low key and simple; It's not flashy and plastered with tacky designer labels. Just an all around simple, durable, and practical everyday bag. Highly recommend.

I was replacing a computer messenger bag with this bag. I am basing this review on how functional the bag is as a messenger bag and not as a computer bag. I feel it doesn't have enough padding to be a true computer bag. I'm really happy with this bag for its functionality. It has a lot of pockets, some with zippers and some without. It is very comfortable to carry, due to the large strap. I was very happy with the water resistance, since it started raining shortly after I received this. It's a really good looking bag too.

I use this a daily bag carrying my laptop and various EDC. It's very stylish and comfortable and has the perfect amount of compartments for my needs. Quite enjoying it thus far and much better than the backpack I was carrying previously. Liked it so much I purchased one for my brother for Christmas, he loves it equally.

I use this as a work bag and I actually own one of each size, XS-L. The medium was so close to perfect. I just needed another inch to fit my overstuffed padfolio comfortably. I don't carry a computer but I have a lot of physical documents. I was afraid that the large would be too much, but it was just what I needed.

Use it for my MacBook Pro 13" and iPad. Includes chargers. And files. I expect it to be good for travel as well.
