I like them. It's not easy to find shorts that have a mid- or high-waist but also shorts. All I can usually find, if mid-waist, are wide-legged ones. If it's legs that fit my legs, it's low hung waist. This has a reasonably high waist but also fit in the legs. I'll wear and wash them and if they still fit, I'll order more colors. I wear a size 6 in pants. The 29s fit perfectly.

Great fit, very happy with these jeans. I have a thinner athletic build & the size 26 is a perfect fit. I am 5’6 125 pounds, in my 50’s & these are a great style.

As expected of Levi's, these are a comfortable pair of shorts. They're a little longer than I expected but still work great, I just cuff the pant leg to get the shorter look. Great addition to my summer wardrobe!

Great pair of basic shorts for those of you looking for jean functionality without the legs. The pockets are adequate, none of those fake sewn up pockets or shallow front pockets that nothing can reliably fit in. Denim has give but doesn't stretch out too much, the shorts can be worn all day in humid weather and still be ready to go the next day without a wash if you're into that. They can be rolled up more if you want them to be shorter without the roll looking too bulky. 10/10 would buy again.

These are awesome shorts, just enough stretch. I ordered a 28. I usually wear a 6 in shorts/jeans. These hit me right at my belly button. Long enough to roll up if you want them shorter.

Love these shorts! They are comfortable and when unrolled, a perfect length for me. I am 57 and it's so hard to find shorts that are flattering but not frumpy! I bought 3 pair. I did find that i needed one size smaller in the white than the denim. They all have just enough stretch.

Size 31 is a size 12. Happy with my purchase.

I like the length of the 4 inch inseam and could go shorter if the leg openings were looser. I could go without the cuffed bottom and instead have a little slit cut so they don’t squeeze the thigh when you sit, but it’s not a deal breaker. The overall fit is flattering, with no gapping in the back. The stretchy denim is a must for me, and these feel good. Not my favorite jorts ever, but I do like them.

I really like these shorts. I ordered the color Maui Ocean Depths in size 24 with an inseam of 4 inches. I measured the inseam and it’s actually 3.5 inches. I wish it was really 4 inches which is why I took away 1 star. Otherwise I’m happy with these shorts. The material is nice and thick but stretchy. This color is not distressed, but some other colors are. I wish the white wasn’t distressed or I would purchase that color too.

Beware. If you order white, they come fatigued - 3 torn holes strategically placed without any warning at all. There is NO mention of this in the description.

Cute and comfy, so I'm keeping them, but they are NOT a 6 inch inseam! They are no more than 4 inches. Be aware of that if you order them.

These fit true to size and are very comfortable, but are definitely shorter than I expected. They seem quite short to me, not mid-length, as described.

I'm usually between a 4 & a 6 so I ordered both (in black). They both fit fine, but the fabric was much stretchier than I wanted. Had I kept them, I would have kept the 4 (I think the 6 would have stretched out too much), but I was hoping for a more denim-like fabric. Make sure to check the fabric content - it varies by color. The 4 inch inseam was perfect - not too short, not too long.

I love the color, fabric, and cuffed hem - they're beautiful to look at and are a nice mid-weight denim with a soft feel and plenty of stretch. However, I failed to notice the 4" inseam, which is too short for me and isn't what I think of as mid-length (mid-length to me is a 5.5" - 7" inseam). The front pockets are too shallow to be useful, only about 2.5" deep, or up to the middle knuckle of my fingers. The size 29 has a 4.5" front zipper and are mid-rise with a noticeable dip in the front (front rise 9.5", back rise 15"). Waist measures about 32" and hips 38" with lots of stretch, but this larger waist and straighter cut left me with a big gap at the back waist. They were a little snug on me in the hips (I'm 5'4", 138 lbs, waist a size smaller than hips) so sizing down will not fix the waist gap.

They are not long as the description says. Can not unroll them.

The color (Lapis Smile) is really nice and they are a great length, however, although they fit nice on my thighs, they have A LOT of space/stretch in the front region. Returning.

Favorite summer shorts. Looks great and super comfortable. Denim to elastic ratio is very forgiving.

I'm 5'8" and 165lbs, typically a 10, M/L. I ordered this size 30 and it was perfect! Very stretchy and comfy.

I love this short! Perfect length for a mature, fit woman! Perfect rise when you just can't do a high-rise waist. Eveyone needs a good basic white short, this is mine!?

I think they run a little bit small… Especially when they are black and I bought the black ...could have gone a size up. They are also a heavy denim and I wish they were a little bit lighter for summer. I like that you can roll them up one more roll and still have it be a nice length. Good value for the price ..having a nice pair of black shorts is a definite for the summer.

Very very short shorts! Not for older ladies.
