Customer Reviews Jambu Kids Piranha (Toddler/Little Kid/Big Kid)

I bought these for my 3.5 year old. They are very cute, he loved them, but within 30 minutes they rubbed bleeding blisters on his feet. It was pretty crazy. They have this rubby fabric that has a honeycomb-ish pattern on it that goes up all the way (the green fabric in the picture) which is a little rough on their soft skin. Anyway, I don't know, try them but don't throw away the box.

Purchased a size 2 for my son who has a VERY wide foot and thankfully this shoe had enough space for it! He has worn Keen H2 in the past, but had trouble with the velcro strap coming loose. On Keen's, the 'male' side of the velcro is short and placed at the far outside edge. On the Jambu Piranha, it extends from the side up over the top of the foot so there is plenty of space for adjusting the tightness. This made it a clear winner for us! If Keen's fit, but you have the same trouble we had, I suggest trying these. They are a good quality shoe! '

These are great water shoes. Tough, but not clunky. Easy on and off, with adjustable velcro and mini-bungees. They stay on when he runs. Protect the toes, but don't trip him up and manage to look pretty sleek (no Frankenstein feet!). My son is now almost 9, and we've been buying the Jambu Kids Piranha since he was 3.5. They're durable, too; have passed on as hand-me-downs to friends who love them as much as we did. We've tried Keen, Kamik, and Merrell versions over the years, but my son (and I) still prefer the Jambu Kids Piranha. Haven't tried any of the other Jambu water shoes, so can't say how they compare. But we've been so happy with the Jambu Kids Piranha, there hasn't been a reason to!

Jambu kids are favorites for both of my children. I had ordered these for my daughter and my son loved them so much that I got him a pair.
